Lovely visit with a friend to sit out and have coffee during Bunkfest. Unbelievable rudeness from another customer towards the staff who were gracious and tolerant where to eject him would have been entirely appropriate and reasonable. Instead they returned his money as an act of goodwill. Everyone who witnessed this was appalled by how awful he was. Such a lovely cafe!

This restaurant is first class, all dishes are done with care and they are fantastic. Last week, my husband Peter, my son Greg and I had the pleasure to have an absolutely amazing dinner at Bipul’s Kitchen where we had whole leg of lamb, and I cannot praise it enough, sincerely it was high on top of the one of the best meals I had in my life, everything was so delicious 😋 really yummy! I highly recommend as you certainly won’t regret it. The three of us ate a lot, and we are sure that would serve 4 hungry people. Truly fantastic option, we love all Bipul’s delicious food and the whole staff with their kindness and care but this a must, they really hit the mark with this dish! Really friendly, welcoming people run this coffee bar. The coffee is brewed to perfection. The tea is strong and flavoursome. The toasted sandwiches are filled to the brim and very tasty. The cakes are moist and delicious. The outlook is pleasant due to the flowers and plants. The atmosphere, cosy and inviting. They also serve ice cream, toasties, waffles, and smoothies. The ice creams in waffle cones are amazing. The ice cream goes right down to the bottom, so every bite is a delight. This is a place we visit time and again. It comes very highly recommended indeed.

I always make a point of visiting Bruin Cafe when I am in the Oxford area, often taking long detours just to get there! I must have popped in 30 times now. Quite simply, it has the best coffee, pastries and light snacks that you will find in a Cafe, anywhere! The salt beef bagel is ridiculously good (and when the guy from the kitchen serves it, you can see he knows how good it is!). The staff are great and clearly passionate about their business and now they have expanded, there is seating too. Well played guys, first class job, looking forward to the next 30 visits...

We recently booked Durban Spice for a private dining experience. First off the ease and communication from Shabs was first class. On the evening, the welcome to us and the rest of our guests was super warm and friendly. Sarah did an excellent job of hosting us and accommodating to all ensuring we all felt at ease. The food was literally incredible, the flavours were even better than the food back home in Durban. Sarah & Shabs did a great job explaining the dishes, their story and how they come to get that real true Durban flavour and spice. Thank you so much, it made for a wonderful evening and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Our cycling group of 15 called in for lunch on a Sunday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and arrived swiftly with a smile. They even apologised for a non existent delay in getting the food to us.

Stopped off here for breakfast while i was in the area. Food was lovely, generous portions, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

I felt like these amazing drinks transported me into a sweet other world. The staff were very helpful and kind especially on my first day there. The scenery in the small shop was very cute and it smelt amazing i felt very warm and welcomed. I recommend going with friends or family to hove an amazing experience. That's a 5 star rating from me!

Fab panini take away last week. Good ordering and payment system . Great service and a real asset to the village. We will be back very soon.

I am a regular visitor to this delightful cafe in South Didcot, where there is always service with a smile and great coffee ,cake, breakfasts and light lunches. The cafe provides a great meeting place for locals to meet up, or a solo relax with a lovely coffee

Amazingly fresh, home cooked food! Beautiful setting. Friendly, polite staff, what’s not to like?! Look forward to next visit!
