The best restaurants in Ringwood East and Sopley New Forest South East

My second visit. Wish I lived nearer to visit regularly. A lovely menu in Charlotte’s tea rooms for lighter lunches so reasonably priced and delightful staff. Love the garden centre. The inside shop is, unlike most garden centres, very reasonably priced - it’s an Aladdins Cave! I must go back there - never mind the 50 minute drive!!!!

VERY FRIENDLY PUB . FOOD WAS VERY NICE AND JUST A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Stayed with my daughter. Spacious room nice balcony view. Close to highcliff Castle and beach. Free parking. Bed wasn't as comfortable as I wanted. The bathroom was outdated but big. No room service. Upon check in, I was told that the hotel was due to close down for renovation the following week and would be under new management when we opened in a couple of years.

We were at a party in the barn which was very very cold

Great roast, plenty of meat, served piping hot. Great atmosphere, attentive staff. Son had fish and chips but the skin was on the fish which spoilt it for him

Stopped off with my family and Ronnie the dog at this lovely pub on our way to Woolgarston from Brigjton to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately we got there via a country lane with a very large pot hole. Having enjoyed our fab lunch we got into the car park and noticed we had a flat tyre. So back in the pub for an hour waiting for the mobile tyre van to arrived. The landlord was very hospitable serving us complimentary coffee while we waited. If you ever find yourself in this area, it’s worth a stop off - the service, food and staff were amazing just don’t go via the country lane 😉

I last visited the Woolpack when it was under the old ownership in fact left a very positive review last time but on my latest visit under new ownership I was left very disappointed the Sunday lunch was just OK Pork quite dry vegetables not great 1 piece of cauliflower (really) and exspensive for what it was it used to be a more of a traditional Sunday lunch with plenty of vegetables and meat done to a T and good value I appreciate prices have needed to rise a bit please offer good value for money, on a final note the service was very good very attentive.

Four of us went for Sunday lunch at The New Queen Inn today. The food and service were exceptional. Kiran was a standout. He was attentive and engaging. We will definitely return.
