The best restaurants in Barming Maidstone South East

An excellent venue for a party of a dozen friends. Good food and excellent service. Both regular and good veggie options with wide selection of deserts.

After just passing this place and decided to stop with friend . We was out looking for somewhere to eat . And was so happy we stopped here ,the girl who served us was so welcoming ,told us together a table and she brought our drinks over . We ordered the katsu curry ,and was not disappointed at all . Really really nice . Then had the banana sundae and again no complaints ,so nice . So happy we passed this pub today , cannot fault at all . A very enjoyable lunch . We will definitely be back .

Used to be the best Chinese, I’d have recommended it every time but the last 3-4 I’ve had have been virtually inedible. Freezing cold and dry (live barely a 5 min drive away), barely cooked chow mein (onions raw etc). Gross. Really have let their standards slip. Won’t bother again

Everything was mediocre but 1 waiter, he was rude the whole time, we got told we was lying about the food being cold then he stuck his finger in the food, made to wait hour and 20 mins for our table, wasn’t given menus when sat down, gave looks to our family (mainly my mother who’s birthday it was and is pregnant), when we tried to raise our complaints the manager (the rude waiter) simply was looking for a fight and told us all we had no intention of paying and told us we should leave, one of the worst if not the worst restaurant I’ve been to, definitely to not recommend, absolutely disgusting.

If you're walking in the country park then this is a very good place to stop for a coffee. The lady serving was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was freshly made and was good. Cakes, crisps and biscuits were also available and there is also a table where you can sit and take a rest.

First time we had visited for a while. So glad we did. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. We both had steak and ale pie which was very tasty and very welcome on a freezing day. Could only manage to share a dessert, orange and passion fruit cheesecake. Again excellent. Don’t think we’ll be leaving it so long to return!
