I COULD NOT RATE THIS PLACE ENOUGH! Tucked away like a hidden gem, The Yew Tree is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. After living in Maidstone for nearly 10 years why did I wait so long to visit. This in my opinion is probably the best gastro pub in the local area. We were welcomed with the warmest of welcomes from the team of friendly staff. But what you really want to know is how good the food is which is nothing short of exceptional. Not the cheapest but comparable to similar gastro pubs in the area and when the quality of service and food is as good as it was I don’t mind paying. Looking forward to my next visit, 11 out of 10! Absolutely first class!! just moving locally

Very disappointed with our meals today, chips were dry, chicken skewer was soggy and cold, vegetables were burnt. Salad bar had very little option. And unfriendly staff. Won't be going there again.
