The best restaurants in Tillingbourne Guildford South East

First visit to The Kings Head but it won’t be the last. We were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff who provided good service through the evening. The food I would describe upmarket pub food and was beautifully presented and very good quality and the bill at the end of the evening was surprisingly reasonable. No complaints at all.

Staff are very unorganised and we felt very rushed. The food is overpriced and not authentic. I am Indian and the food definitely lacked in flavour. Charging £3.25 for a tiny cup of masala chai that was watery is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place as the price is not worth it.

Tom was a wonderful server; we’d gladly return for his excellent service and the delicious food. The atmosphere was cozy, with just the right balance—not too busy, but with plenty of seating and a lovely fireplace adding to the charm.

Excellent food and service. And thank You to Linda for remembering us. Very highly recommended and we will be back again.

Me and my boyfriend came for late lunch today and we were very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. He ordered the roast pork and I had the ox cheek. I must say that my dish was very tasty but unfortunately it came cold and his pork wasnt the best quality for that price we paid. When they served us the food, no one asked us if we want anything else and by the time I wanted to ordered more drinks the waiter was gone. I also ordered some extra vegetable that we never received and because no one checked on us we couldn’t very complain. When the waitress came to collect our plates I pointed out all the things mentioned above but only to get reply: sorry we are busy would you like anything else? We asked for the bill and left. This is such a shame because I have been to this place before and had completely different experiences. Unfortunately I think this time the experience wasn’t worth the price we paid and we won’t be rushing back.
