First time trying this takeaway. Friendly staff, tasty food. Portion sizes aren't massive. Will order from there again

After driving from Wolverhampton for work found this cafe absolutely beautiful, I would recommend to anyone not to shy on sandwich fillings ever 10/10 👍🏻👍🏻

Wow what an amazing evening! We booked for five of us to have a wonderful Christmas eve dinner. Started by having a few drinks in the bar then a young waiter called James came to get us to tell us that our table was ready and then proceeded to service flawlessly all evening. The food was amazing the staff could not do enough to help. The entertainment was good fun, just what you want after a few drinks on Christmas Eve! And a big thank you to the manager Kelly who squeezed us in last minute, she does an amazing job there! Roll on next year!!

Made a order 2 hours to deliver, the driver tells me the only delivery he made and to be honest, order was placed on there website, confirmed and accepted then I wait 2 hours no reduction and if I'm honest I didn't enjoy it as I had passed the hungry stage, I don't think I will be using, them again as the food used to ok but now just run of the mill and with a service that takes 2 hours and not even a curstisy call. Not fair on the paying customer. Lads, sort your selfs as more and more pe are using out of the village Indian take aways, they deliver on time and food is of great quality, and people are all saying that anisa is slipping, pull this back boys before it is a loss.

I have never had such a dreadful meal delivered to my house. The food was tasteless, dry, cold and nothing like I had ever experienced before! It took 80 minutes to arrive half a mile up the road and when I called to say how disappointed I was I was told that I just wanted my money back! I can comfortably afford to order a takeaway but could not eat this awful food. I have only ordered from this restaurant once before when a guy I have known for many years worked there and it was great. However when I asked if Ali from The Meopham Tandoori still worked there I was told that no one called Ali had ever worked there !! I have been told a refund will be with me in 5-10 days but their customer service is rock bottom so I don’t believe it. In fact letting people not waste their money is more important than a refund as I did not complain to get one as the Manager rudely implied .

Sunday lunch was dismal, ran out of pork belly and chicken, the carrots tasted of star annis and the roast potatoes were just about the worst that I have had in any pub, they really need to up their game, will not eat here again, a waste of money Bristolfoodcritic

Our large family wanted somewhere for Sunday lunch. The publican accommodated us at short notice. We were made very welcome. The Sunday roast was very generous size portions. We had a wonderful dinner and would definitely come back. The pub is very clean and friendly and on our doorstep.

Rob the manager, goes from strength to strength . It seems to improve every time we visit. Due to our friend having a well behaved baby we had reserved a table in the large garden for 5. Never done so before , so did not know about the different rules that apply . No waitress service , order at bar ,fetch your own cutlery ,serviette. Then the menu is totally different from inside . As an an OAP I was oblivious to this . Was a little perturbed but Rob sorted it out getting us a nice table inside, such a professional and huge asset to the owner. Food ordered and in no time arrived well cooked presented and tasty. Quite an admiral achievement when busy and we all had different dishes too. Asking the bar maid whether the Amstel lager was genuine Dutch import ,she said , I don't know , but it tasted ok. Families and parties were welcomed and catered for . Bouncy castle and huge out door tv . our son enjoyed several Euro matches their recently too. Will return as soon as possible , pension permitting . Large car park .
