Anisa in Gravesham

Attended for a birthday meal with a party of 20 people, including kids and young babies. The staff were incredibly accommodating at arranging the restaurant to seat such a large group. Service was quick, all food came out exactly as ordered, great quality and was delicious. I had to step out to try and get my baby to sleep in the pram as the food was being served, and the staff even came out to offer to help me so I could eat my meal hot. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The bring your own alcohol was a bonus. Will definitely be eating here again.

I would be very wary ordering from here. I placed an order for delivery. Was given a 45 mins delivery time. Over an hour later I chased delivery. Order had been cancelled by the restaurant due to apparent 'history at my address' no notification that they had cancelled the order after accepting it. Well done you lovely 'humans'

Anisa is always my families & my boyfriend’s families go to for a meal out. The food is top tier, the staff are so lovely & welcoming & the overall service is fab. The food and value for money is fantastic and we will never go to any other Indian restaurant. Thank you so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been a customer of Anisa for many years, unfortunately this evenings performance has been shocking, food an hour late and a delivery driver that was aggressive!

When placing the order, the delivery time was 35-50min. After I had paid this changed to 1.5h. Then the order didn't arrive at the end of the delivery slot so I had to call the restaurant, where my order was still sitting. Better communication needed

We had a lovely take away tonight after a very hectic and busy day. The food arrived piping hot and was extremely tasty as always. Anisa never let us down. Thank you so much. Our food was delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered here for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint, food was lovely no grease like other takeaways I’ve had, will 100% be ordering from here again in the future. Delivery time was spot on , arrived 5 mins early .

I order alot of indian food but sadly the chef of my regular had moved. I've been searching for a new regular and after many failed attempts using ubers selections I popped on to Just Eat and searched by best rating. Anisa was top so I took a punt and was definitely not disappointed. Infact it was one of the best indian takeaway orders I've ever had. Food was fresh l, tasty and hot with great portion sizes. Took the time to read my notes and followed perfect. Can't recommend enough.

Phenomenal food every-time I order. Lovely Indian take out and restaurant. Food is always freshly prepared and tastes good. Occasionally would order from here when I’m alone or don’t want to cook.

the quorn chicken masala wasn't chicken it was quorn meat balls which I didn't ask for an the chicken biryani was greasy and the lamb was tuff an chewy which my dad left

Good food but i must mention the following - Poor size samosa,poor size onion baji and king prawn masala had no taste of prawn and the prawns might as well have been chicken strips . So overall disappointed with purchases in this order.

Curries are amazing, good amounts of meat in all meat dishes. Only teeny downside is I wish they had a hotter curry available as vindaloo just not spicy enough for me, but without doubt best curry takeaway in gravesham.

All food was cold and sadly very bland and un appetising, a lot was left over and wasted Don’t waste your money just not worth it anymore The paneer was soggy with a load of sauce no other vegetables or anything of interest BORING

My first order the food was 10 out of 10 I will be back

We ordered 16/Dec, the Anisa supreme curry which was lovely, just the right amount of heat and smoky flavour. Would like option to have just chicken for example as the lamb was a little tough for my liking. Onion bhaji was small but I liked them, not greasy, nice and crispy. Overall it was lovely, our thanks to the chef and happy New Year to you all.

Lamb madras was not a madras, the sauce tasted coconut based and was very thick - tasted more like a korma based sauce.

Very modest restaurant, no frills, good service, handy parking just outside but no alcohol licence and food was average.

My 1 year old daughter nearly chocked to death this evening. I ordered the korma and rice and she had a 2cm bone in her chicken. I spoke to the restaurant and all they kept saying was complain on justeat. Like that would avoid this happening again. Clearly the chicken they are using at this restaurant is below average and has bits inside they are not aware of, most definitely vacuum packed processed chicken. I am beyond disgusted by this and will never order from them again. Just for the blatant disregard for health and safety and who might eating their food!!

Food was ok but there was no onion salad or other with king prawn puree starter I always get this from other places I've ordered from thought I would try this for the first time. Will not be going back

Delicious food as always. Hot and on time. Only negative on this occasion was - the poppadoms were soft, bearing in mind they are 80p each, this shouldn't be expected.

Thought I'd try somewhere with the best reviews and pay the higher price,, I don't understand its so below average. £50, the lamb was chewy the madras tasted not like a madras the other curries uninspired prawn puri bland. £50 no free salad no free poppadoms not even a mint dip for the poppadoms we did order so tight, a little goes a long way. No chance I would ever order again.

Tried a few in the area and finally found Anisa. Without a doubt this is the best in the area - no need for all the Uber eat or deliveroo nonsense when ordering. It’s easier to just order from the online menu and your food is delivered in no time. It’s actually nice to get decent food and not be bombarded by Uber notifications asking for extra tips for days after from a company that basically extorts money from restaurants. Great food, value for money and quick delivery 5*

Worst food , only curry good was dal tadka.

The food this evening was fantastic. The food was hot. Poppadoms were very fresh and crisp. The curries were lovely. You could definitely tell the difference between them. Great consistency full of flavour. Breads etc are all very nice. Really enjoyed it tonight.

We have got a takeaway from this place twice now and it’s brilliant. The food is great quality and bursting with flavour. I had the Pasanda one day which was great and the Garlic Chilli the other and both were exceptional. They even catered to my order when I asked if I could make the masala sauce extra spicy. Just had our second meal from Anisa,the Dansak was perfect, my wife said her Kurma was divine, the rice and naan bread perfect,what more do you need? Recommend!
