The best restaurants serving British food in Higham Gravesham South East

From the welcoming log fire when you arrive through to the delicious roast beef Sunday lunch this was a pure delight. We had a lovely lunch here last Sunday with the family around a generous size round table. We liked the comfortable dining room and unhurried atmosphere. This was our first visit for a couple of years so it was good to get reacquainted with this very elegant restaurant.

I have been visiting pubs for the past 43 years and I have never seen such good service. Afra, Clair and the whole team behind the bar are simply first class. Big credit to them and to the manager for doing such a fantastic job.

Not visited for many years but attended a wake there yesterday. Pleasant staff, nice airy function room with lots of natural light. Delicious buffet catering for all tastes and plenty of it. Could really do with more parking spaces though.
