By far the best best Chinese takeaway in area, food is so tasty and well cooked. Premises are very clean and looked after. The staff are a absolute pleasure to order from with a great polite professional lady as front of house. Please once you have tried it and experienced the food I'm sure you will agree. Discovered this Chinese takeaway while browsing on Google and due to the raving reviews and how close it was to my house, I decided to give it a try. To my pleasant surprise, the service and food were amazing. I didn’t call ahead, just ordered when I arrived. The estimated waiting time was 30 to 45mins. I didn’t mind waiting and my food was ready even quicker than expected, in record time of 15mins. The food was piping hot, even when I arrived back home and was delicious. I’ll definitely be back again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Best Chinese around, lovely people and lovely food

Well, we had our "Chinese Evening" and ordered a variety of dishes enough for 20 people and everyone complimented on the food that we shared together. Our evening was a great success and we will be doing it again very soon, and of course, we will be getting the food from Taste House! We are very lucky to have the Taste House in our village serving the most delicious food you could wish for. The portions are generous and the staff are helpful and friendly. We have a family "Chinese Night" coming up soon for 20 people. Ordering food from the Taste House and I will put another review here after the event !!

Taste House is my go-to for Chinese takeaway The food is prepared freshly and is bursting with flavor. Another big plus is the portion sizes. Their dishes are very generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. We usually have leftovers for lunch the next day! The service is always exceptional here as well as the staff always friendly and polite.

This used to be the best Chinese takeaway around, our food this evening was far too salty.. and whilst the service was fine, the food was largely inedible.. Such a shame.

Our recent takeaway from The Taste House Chinese Takeaway in Rochester was so good. The food was very tasty, the Beef Chow Mein was a delightful mix of flavors, the Crispy Chilli Beef had the perfect balance of crispiness and spice. The surprise dish was the Chicken Gone Siu, which burst with chilli and garlic flavoring and had our taste buds popping. The Fried Rice was was fluffy, and brimming with flavor, the Beef in Black Bean sauce, was a rich and satisfying dish that left us licking our lips. It has been a long time since we enjoyed a takeaway meal so much. We're already looking forward to our next order; it won't be long before we enjoy another fantastic takeaway from the Taste House. Have lived in Higham for 5 years this is by far the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Food is always freshly cooked, we have never had a bad meal. Staff are lovely and I cannot recommend highly enough.

The owners /staff are always welcoming and speak to you. You will have to be prepared to wait for your order, if you want to eat at popular times, but I have only waited once in half a dozen times of buying a takeaway. Obviously you can preorder although I never have I tend to pop in the decent pub across the road where the locals are always friendly. The food is beyond compare to any other local Chinese takeaway. Don’t loose this gem, it actually is a pleasure to eat their food.

Ridiculous waiting times. Constantly told 1-2 hours every time I try to place an order, and that’s for collection too. I try to support the businesses within the village but I won’t bother anymore.

I’ve found my little piece of paradise in higham and I’m not letting go. today I had the good fortune to order a takeaway from this place and was truly amazed with it and please don’t take my word for it indulge yourself you won’t be disappointed good service all round.

Had a fantastic takeaway last night - first time but will definitely be going back! Best Chinese I have had in years.

Tried this place for first time tonight, I'm usually quite picky where I eat and checked the hygiene rating before considering it, 5 star! Good start. Gave me a time of 8pm and went to collect. Time was bang on, and was met with everyone wearing masks and from what I could see kitchen looked clean. Food was restaurant qaulity! And not overly greasy! Was so impressed think I've found my new chinese! Only slight disappointment was the chilli beef was luke warm but 20min drive to home so not surprised, and it would be great if they delivered too HOO, high halstow.

The best Chinese takeaway I have ever had. My boyfriend lives in Higham and we often buy a takeaway here. (I actually had it last night!!) it's delicious, fresh, never greasy and tastes so good. I will always come back - and have recommended to my family and friends in Gravesend ( where i'm from) as its worth the trip! Highly recommend the chicken curry and duck spring rolls!

Always great food from the Taste house. It is a take away only, no delivery or sit in, but luckily i live around the corner from it so always handy.

After moving to higham back in February, I have used Taste House quite a lot. More than I should do but that’s another matter. The quality of food has always been excellent and the staff there are always very friendly and greet you with a smile. A little gem

Excellent take away, where the food always tastes fresh. A little more variety in the vegetables - some broccoli or pak choi would be great - and it would be perfect.

This has to be the best Chinese take away for miles around. The dishes are mainly Cantonese and always cooked to order. It is always busy and I would recommend getting hold of a menu before you plan to enjoy your take away, you can then order over the phone rather than turning up and waiting for up to an hour. I would recommend the Ying Young Chow mien(has satay sauce in it) and the Wall Siu chicken (crispy and slightly spicy sweet and sour).
