Excellent service, curry was good though the sauce was a bit too blended to my liking, would have preferred more whole veg and a bit more spice.

Another lovely visit to this very friendly eatery. The food was well presented and very tasty, and the service was friendly and polite. We have used this pub for food many times, and have never left feeling like we didn’t get value for money. We will of course be back for more.

That curry sauce alone got you 5 stars, we will be back!

Tres personas en nuestro partido se quejaron de que sus hamburguesas estaban frías. A dos les reemplazaron el suyo, pero a mi marido no. Cuando se dieron cuenta de que todavía estaba esperando, le ofrecieron un entrante en su lugar, ya que tomaría demasiado tiempo cocinar uno fresco. No volveré

I had tried this cafe about 18 months or so and it wasn’t up to its best so when a family member suggested here again I was a little bit worried but OMG, I take it that it must of changed hands. Fantastic breakfast with quality sausage and bacon, lovely think brown bread for toast. Polite staff, in fact I can’t say anything bad, well done, keep it up, I will be returning and I have already told people how good you are. X

Disappointed this morning as I have told my family how good the food is here. It was quite busy when I arrived, so had to wait for table service but that wasn’t a problem. Ordered 3 breakfast, coffee and tea. The coffee was only warm, and it was the same for the breakfast, maybe warm the plates up first? disappointed this time, and we also had to keep our coats on as it was so cold in there. What a shame.

Stopped by The White Horse for a quick drink while working in the area and really enjoyed it. It has a lovely locals' vibe — welcoming and relaxed — with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home. A great little spot if you’re passing through or looking for a laid-back place to unwind.

Went for Sunday Carvery after spotting the sign when driving through the village a few days before. Very accommodating when booking by email, we were greeted by the landlord and spoken to by both the landlord and landlady a number of times throughout our meal to check we were ok, enjoying our meal and to share details about the pub and upcoming events. A most enjoyable afternoon.

Long journey and desperately needed somewhere to take a break. So there was my saviour next to a Travelodge.Big car park,all clean and tidy,12.45pm and the place was empty ! Big sized Americano (£2.95) and a chocolate twist (£2.30) did the revival trick,quick doze in the car and then back on the road fully refreshed.It does what it is supposed to do and does it well.
