The best restaurants in Stedham Chichester South East

Only called in for ice cream but this is a lovely little shop with very friendly staff. Local produce available and a good range.

Really disappointing. Tepid mulled wine from a flask, smells like a community centre.

To start with we had to wait 1 hr and 30 minutes for our meal then my meal was not very warm and the meal size was very small more like a starter

Just had a delicious meal. Amazing Starters, and delicious main meal. All beautifully presented, pleasantly hot with fresh ingredients. Warm and pleasant surroundings. Attentive staff with good service. Good beer and ideal relaxing pre Christmas meal. Thank you Nava Thai.

We last visited this excellent restaurant in 2019, and returned for lunch. The staff were most attentive, the restaurant beautifully appointed. The lunch/all day menu is freshly prepared throughout,of excellent quality and delicious. The wine list is small but select. There is a choice of seating at table in the restaurant, in the lounge or outdoors under parasols overlooking the croquet lawn. The staff were more than happy to accommodate our one year old grandson.

Food excellent. service excellent. Pub decor not so good. Beginning to look tired. Entrance area to toilets and in gents has mould/stains on the ceilings which doesn't look good or healthy. Window sill Badly chipped.

We were recommended here as somewhere for lunch, so gave it a go. When we arrived and went to the bar nobody seemed interested in seeing what we wanted, staff seemed more concerned with joking around with eachother. After stopping someone to tell them we had a table booked we were then shown to our table. Then had to wait 5 minutes to get a menu. Thankfully the food was great, but once our plates were cleared we were completely forgotten about again. Had to go to the bar to pay, and of course had the discretionary service (what service?) charge added to the bill automatically. Great food, but didn't feel looked after

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for a meal with family. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and the range of vegan options on offer. I would really recommend the mezze board and the biscoff cheesecake! The small downside was that the dining area tended to get very noisy, and it was often difficult for us to hear each other over the general noise. *update* We returned for another visit on a Sunday afternoon and the experience was totally different. All the staff were very quiet and not a smile between them. The mezze board has been removed from the menu and replaced with a spiced cauliflower dish (huge mistake), I asked whether the mezze board could be ordered and was met with a firm “no it’s not on the menu.” Coffee was served lukewarm. Plus, when using the toilets, our server rinsed her hands for about 2 seconds with water only, no soap! Disgusting! Won’t be coming back, such a shame.
