Never been here before pulled in on the off chance on a Saturday afternoon fantastic welcome by the landlady. My wife had a Ploughman. I had a ham, egg and chips. My wife said it was the best PLANS she’d ever had and my ham and chips was spot on give it a try you won’t be disappointed and great value for money.

Great venue, amazing staff, very quick service and excellent food. Great for families to chill out. Plenty of tables in the restaurant and bar area.

Just had cod and chips from The Yellow Fisherman. Delicious and hot. Never had a bad meal from them.

Myself and 3 Biker mates visited yesterday and were impressed by the changes made to the place. Full of interesting Motoring memorabilia for all Petrolheads everywhere! The young staff were friendly and attentive as well as being highly efficient in their jobs. The breakfast is at the top of the price range at £11.95, but it was cooked beautifully and the ingredients top notch. Great Coffee too! We had a great time and will certainly return. An excellent Bikers retreat!

Proper country pub with great service and fantastic food

Can't say much about it as it was Closed! Staying at Holiday Inn, we thought it would be nice to pop across for a drink. All in darkness. Went back to the hotel where they informed us it had been "closed for months". Maybe it might be a good idea to put a sign on the door saying as such! We walked down the road to the Beefeater and had a few drinks there instead.....
