Have used this chinese for over 20 years when known as Kwok Wah and Hong Kong Chef, even driving from out of the area as the Chinese chips and curry were legendary, however new owner has changed the food, and although nice, it just wasn't the same and not worth coming from afar any more. Ok food but no longer worth their legendary status!

Food was standard for dominos, however they were the smallest 'large' pizza I've ever had. Delivered earlier than I asked for too. First time eating at this dominos, probably will stick to the others from now on

Went to this restaurant for a pizza (firstly banging, so yummy) and the chef gave us a sample of his chicken tikka…delicious, I went home that night and woke up in the morning craving it again so went back for more. VERY impressed, I had the Dahl and chicken tikka masala, great value for money, chef was lovely and gave me a glass of his mango yogurt drink. I am very upset I don’t live locally, LOVE LOVE LOVE

A massive shout out for all of the staff of the bar at the Point Theatre. Great food, hot and tasty, caring and attentive staff. Nothing appeared too much trouble. Chilli and curry made for the company of the Mountbatten Players between shows. Thank you so much. You are all ⭐️

Good ambience and beach views. Our £17 glass of champagne was served in a plastic glass! Nachos were tasty and fresh.

Super delicious and excellent value for money. True flavours and intense spices all well balanced. Open on Sundays which is great!

We booked to eat here on Saturday night. We arrived slightly early however, the staff were very welcoming. The service was exceptional, friendly and quick. The plates came out nice and hot, the food tasted amazing, I cannot fault it at all. The pricing was normal, with a 10% service charge added on. Very good and worth it. A lovely atmosphere with happy, chatty, smiling staff. The restaurant had a great ambience and was very clean. We stayed at The Winchester Hotel & Spa, this restaurant is great and within walking distance (5mins) from the hotel. We can't wait to return again soon for some more tasty food and drinks. Just moved in the area and found Shapla so we thought we would give it a try, ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill and the Shashlik along with Chicken Jal-Jal etc the food was absolutely delicious everyone in the family enjoyed the food. Thank you Shapla, we will be using you for our next takeaway.

For a takeaway, it does a good pad Thai, which travels well and tastes even better the next day, if you don’t scoff it all on the first night. The Gang Panang curry is also very good and tastes delicious on the Pad Thai. Good starters, too. Friendly staff! Only draw back is that it only accepts cash, although a cash point is next door at the Co-op but it occasionally runs out of cash!

Lovely food. Piping hot and delivered early. Will be ordering from here again!!!
