The best restaurants in North West

We were in a rush, so we asked the owner if they could make the pizzas a bit faster. To our surprise, in just a little over 10 minutes, they managed to fire up two pizzas! The cozy, newly renovated place had such a comfortable atmosphere, and I suspect their high-temperature stone oven really made a difference. Overall, an amazing experience!

I was really impressed by all aspects of my visit to Augusto!! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and really tasty food!! I went for the special of the day, which was pizza with a squash base (you need to try it!) smoked Scamorza cheese and Italian sausage, which is really impressive. It was fairly quiet, so i got to speak to the staff and was treated like part of the family. Will go again without a doubt!

Only popped for a couple of drinks but a great find in Hale!

I've had my sons 4th birthday party yesterday, and it was absolutely magical! From start to finish, the staff was amazing! The food, entertainment, the venue, all fantastic! Organisers went above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on. I knew it would be good, but it was 1000 times better than I'd ever imagined! No9 Party Vanue was perfect, proper made up I've booked it there, even parents had a little rave with babies! Well recommended, will definitely be booking again, great location, access to parking space, very affordable prices and beautiful, kind staff who looked after all of us the best! Thank you for having us, was amazing 🩷

Lovely authentic food and friendly atmosphere

2nd time I've been here, the beer is absolutely fantastic with a great choice. Prices vary depending on what percentage you want to bring. Atmosphere is brilliant and it is a place I would go to time and time again.

Very nice pizza and I highly recommend them but would prefer them as takeaway since the experience of visiting this place is not is not the best and I'm not a fan of the service. Pizza and Aperol Spritz go together (even if these are not Italian pizzas) but even if they have the ingredients for an Aperol Spritz, they won't make you one. Instead they have some Aperol Margarita cocktail and you can also get a bottle of prosecco if you want. They just won't make you an Aperol as it's not on the menu. I'm just not a fan a of places that won't be flexible with their menu, especially when they have the ingredients. Their beer.and wine menu is decent but the cocktail menu isn't. Also been there a few times now and they never have tiramisu. Don't even know why it keeps being on the menu. They were also meant to be serving pastas and I'm not sure what's happened to that... Drinks wise, they could learn from their almost neighbours Colby's who go out of their way to please customers and are flexible if something is missing on the menu.

Looked on the Internet said was open. Was in the area had some time to kill. Do walked to the cafe. To find it shut. Disappointed. Least they could do Was update to say closed.

If you’re going to Manchester, you have to visit Popchop Curry House! They open at 5pm, but we only managed to get the last two plates of pork chop rice when we arrived at 7pm – everything sells out if you’re late, so intense! They mentioned you can call ahead to place an order if needed. The pork chops are pan-fried to a crispy perfection, and the curry is aromatic with a good spice kick. Tastes amazing! The quality is still as high as ever, with that classic Hong Kong curry flavor. Since we had kids with us who couldn’t handle the spicy curry, they kindly provided an extra bowl of curry sauce on the side. We also ordered a plate of scallion oil chicken with fried egg rice, and the chicken was just as delicious!
