Nice clean cafe that has a wide range of food. Very reasonable pricing also caters for children. Friendly service, brilliant breakfast, would recommend.

I order regularly from here and cannot fault. Me, family, friends and work colleagues all love the food and service. Over the past year I have ordered for delivery and also been to sit in the cafe part too. The cappuccinos are exceptional. I regularly order jacket potato salad and it’s perfect. Soft inside and crispy outside I’d highly recommend to anyone in local area. Genuine, tasty, reasonable priced cafe.

Got an order this morning and delivered. Food was lovely. Eggs were perfect and was still hot when it arrived. Arrival was only a couple minutes late and was very apologetic and helpful. Would definitely order from here again. Thank you

Great food great staff, the new owner is doing a better job than the last two. It's a shame they had to slag it off on Facebook. Don't be put off 😉👍🏼

Nice atmospheric place to stop off if you are visiting Rochdale. Serving good honest value for money food. Just outside town centre off Molesworth Street. The plaque denoting Gracie Fields birthplace is close by on Molesworth Street close to its junction with Milnrow Road. (In front of the dis used car wash!) TK Max store and Home Bargains superstore close by.

Out on a lunch date with my work colleagues, I got a cheese and ham toasties (was going to phone the police thought someone has stolen my toasties filling) and my colleague got a baked potato with filling. Prawn cocktail? More like smelly fish cocktail. Fish smelt off and was very watery. Want some advice? Don't go near here!!!

We travelled to Rochdale for the sole purpose of trying Castle Cafe's Challenger breakfast. And we were not disappointed. The place itself is a good honest working men's eatery and the food is of the standard you would want, the challenger breakfast is something else containing eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, omlette, fried bread, toast, bread and butter, black pudding, spam, chips, mushrooms and a cup of tea (I've probably missed something.) All in all it is 6000 calories and around half a stone in food. Before you receive the food you get a warning that whatever you do is at your own risk and then they serve you the tray full (and I mean full) of food. As I said the food is of good quality and tasteful and if you complete the challenger in 1 hour you get it free - there were three of us giving it a go (which is not allowed in the challenge, but we knew we wouldn't do it) and we made it to about 50% and all felt full for the rest of the day. Best thing going for the cafe though are the people who although they must have thought that a group of nutters driving from London to Rochdale for breakfast were slightly unhinged they were very friendly and didn't seem at all put out that we were more there to say we had done it than to give it a real go. I doubt I will ever try it again as I know I could never manage it but if you think you can I recommend you give it a go - just make sure you listen very carefully to the health warning.

The shop stunk like a dirty grid. Suzie Q was extremely rude to us as we complained about the smell. She told us to sit outside if we don’t like the smell. It was raining. So ended up soggy sausages and wet eggs. Not going again now. Put me off for dear life. Silly mare.

The menu was not as advertised on the website and the prices were increased from 6.75 to 9.95 for the same thing. Chicken gourgoun and chips was chicken popcorn and a bowl full of chips basically 6 popcorn flavoured chicken for 9.95. Complained to the manager and basically couldn't care less. Never going back.

I'd ordered a cake for my sons birthday about a week/2 weeks before his birthday, it came to the day and luckily I phoned preemptively at 10 to check if the cake was ready to pick up, it had not been made. Which in turn stressed me out, although I got a phonecall at 12ish to tell me my cake was ready. So I went to pick it up, I was given an apology for the messing about in the morning, and some free cupcakes. That and the cake had more than I asked for.. got it home and it was delicious and my son loved all his chickens. Thank you again the cake was beautiful
