Arriving in the pouring rain, we were rewarded for splashing through puddles with the most amazing ice cream we have tasted. Lots of flavour choices, including gluten free, meant we were both spoilt for choice. The smooth, creamy, not too sweet Just Jersey variety was our favourite - it simply showcased the quality of the ingedients. Would highly recommend!

The ice cream was great, very fresh and not overly sweet. There is a good variety of flavours to choose from and animals to pet which is always a bonus.

Delicious fresh Ice-cream, loads of flavours to choose from. The staff were very pleasant too. Was nice to sit in the sun an look over at the Jersey cows 🐄 very cute! Does tend to be a location that attracts lots of kids so if you ain't a fan of screaming children then maybe go at a different time than school holidays 😆 Photo: x1 scoop Party ring flavour + x1 scoop Cookies and Cream, HAD to have 2 scoops 😋

This place has delicious ice cream and is in a great location on a farm just next to Burrs Country Park. In addition to the ice cream they also sell other food that we haven’t tried and host good Halloween and Christmas events that we have attended. On our most recent visit we won a prize of a voucher for an Easter egg Sundae and ordered 4 cones of ice cream which we all loved. As it’s a farm there are always animals and birds around which adds to the experience. There is a decent amount of outside seating some of which is sheltered. Having this quality of ice cream in Bury is a special thing.

we've seen this grow from just a farm to the ice cream parlour, to hosting events and now having an on site pizza oven (separate business I believe). aside from the fact the location is great, enroute to Burrs Country Park, the owners have capitalised on the fact it's a working farm so you can get up close to the Jersey cows as well as the other animals they have such as rabits, goats, sheep and horses. Lots of flavours of ice cream available and reasonable prices too. Can easily spend an hour or 2 here so worth the visit.

This ice cream parlour is totally worth the drive. The scoops are incredibly generous: I picked ‘Bottom of the Bowl’ (cornflake milk flavour) and Party Rings! There is a fair amount of outdoor seating, most of it sheltered. Just sit away from the barn as the smell distracts from the taste of their lush ice cream.

A late lunch for my son. He had a chip bap with red salt....his words were "That is lovely". I wasn't planning on eating, but was tempted by staff recommendation of mac 'n' cheese. It was delicious.... And at half price....a great deal!!! Well done to the chef!!

Gorgeous chatty little nook. Best toasted bacon and egg sandwich ever, topped off with a lovely hot cup of tea. So nice to have gluten free toast available. 😋

This was my first visit to The Bower and I was really impressed. The food was great, the staff lovely, and my dog was made welcome too.
