Me and my husband booked for a date night and the Fat Italian did not disappoint!! We had a wonderful evening, the staff were exceptional, really attentive and friendly. I’d recommend the white wine muscles, the sauce was to die for! The portions were really generous, even the starters. They also had a nice selection of desserts, i’d recommend the brownie :) We had a lovely time, would come here again!

Went to see the art gallery. The woman in the cafe told me it was shut and there were no paintings there. Found a slot from work to visit. Really looking forward to seeing art locally. The cafe woman asked if i liked art. She said she owned an Isherwood, There is nothing online about gallery being shut. I felt devastated as i drove home.

Great food, always piping hot and fresh even when delivered. Fair prices and a wide variety of options. Staff always pleasant and food is quick to be ready of ordered for takeaway. Located in central ormskirk it is also great for getting food for a quiet night in or for after a big night out on the town. Marmaris is the best takeaway in ormskirk. Full stop.

Took my 2 nephews for something to eat,no impressed by decor. To my nephews,not very Harry Potter. Food was very expensive and not the greatest quality. Will not be going back,if you have not been,don't bother.

We love coming into roots as students. Mitchell, Lisa and Crystal are lovely member of staff who not only serve the best coffee and food but also super friendly to us. We love how welcoming and lovely they are to everyday in roots . We would love to see them in roots again next year for our third and final year .
