The best restaurants in Longdendale Tameside North West

Fabulous food once again. The waitresses are lovely. One showing concern because we hadn't been for a while. Which was nice. The fish stew is my absolute favourite. Cannot fault this restaurant.

Mimi and Andrea run an excellent cafe in Hollingworth. The food is good and the atmosphere relaxing. It's that classic little getaway when the world feels like it's almost too much. Definitely one to try. Dan

Excellent choice of beers and the pizza was awesome.

Really enjoyed our filled Easter Eggs and coffee today. It was our first visit today but we will back when the sun us shining for a walk and a bite to eat. The staff were lovely too 😊

Family meal yesterday evening. Four adults and 2 year old granddaughter. All had different currys and we thoroughly enjoyed them, excellent portion sizes too, so much so we even brought some home. Got to say the staff were amazing, made us feel so welcome, and made a proper fuss of our grandchild. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would strongly recommend, and will be returning before long

We where passing and popped in to grab a sandwich, so glad we did as it was lovely and very well priced. There was 2 of us we had 1 sausage and bacon and 1 sausage mushroom and cheese washed down with 2 cups of tea all for £9.50. At first we thought it was a ok price then we saw the butties and thought we had hit the jackpot. The portions are fantastic and the taste is perfection. It's a small cafe with only 3 tables to eat inside but we wasn't looking to sit in so no issue for us. The staff where friendly and helpful. We will stop again if we are in the area for sure

I heard about Bees through a friend of mine, my word it was well worth the trip, it was a hidden gem, firstly all the staff were smiling, friendly, superb service and food was amazing, while I was there they invented a new croissant 🥐 white chocolate and pistachio, unreal! Keep up the amazing work, will be there in the next few weeks

Booked for Christmas Day (not a cheap meal) and it was an extremely disappointing visit. The landlord confirmed for 1pm and when we arrived the restaurant was empty. 25 minutes later the waiter informed us food wasn’t being served till half 2. I did show them the message with a 1pm time stated, but they knew nothing of it. We went down to the bar and an hour later the landlord came to tell us to go up to the restaurant. No apology was forthcoming for our wait. Tables were cheaply decorated considering it was Christmas Day and that should have warned us what was to come. When it finally arrived, the food was bland and very poorly presented. Prawn and avocado cocktail was half an avocado and a few prawns on a plate. Christmas dinner was turkey, potatoes, a couple of parsnips and the smallest pig in blanket ever seen! Sprouts and carrots were then unceremoniously plonked on table in cereal bowls. Service was inadequate to say the least and they were clearly new and had had no real training. We then waited over an hour for dessert and they then mixed up the orders. Some people left as they were fed up of waiting. When it was time to pay the balance, I was too angry to say anything. However, I did message the landlord the following day stating I wanted to give him ‘right to reply’ before writing a review. He messaged back an apology saying he was sorry he had forgotten to tell us of the change in time, he also said he had had to intervene in the kitchen and as a result, was now chef-less! He also said he would welcome us back when he had a new chef for a meal (without charge)! The experience would have been disappointing if it had just been a regular meal but the fact it was a special day was also really upsetting. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority and I would strongly recommend you choose a different restaurant. Please don’t waste your time and money.

Staff were very welcoming and very very helpful , rooms were perfect and clean . Really enjoyed the stay after a sad day at a funeral , thankyou 👌

Family visit today, service was very slow, not the servers fault just not enough staff. The big issue was the prices! £15 for a wrap chips not including, came with a handful of crisps. 5 adults £90!! Won’t be rushing back

Pizza was cheap BUT they were extremely stingy with the pizza topping. It had 0 flavour. The naga donner was nice and full though.

Really poor 3 ladies at the counter, I said hello with none of them acknowledging me, the lady who served me didn't even look at me and when I said thank she pushed my meal deal to me and carried on with her conversation, poor standards.

Really happy with our food delivery this evening, fresh, hot and reasonably priced, we will definitely be ordering again, delivery was fast too
