Bee's Coffee Pot in Tameside

I heard about Bees through a friend of mine, my word it was well worth the trip, it was a hidden gem, firstly all the staff were smiling, friendly, superb service and food was amazing, while I was there they invented a new croissant 🥐 white chocolate and pistachio, unreal! Keep up the amazing work, will be there in the next few weeks

A great experience at a great place, a fab welcome specially by Tessa, variety of breakfast choice, relaxing atmosphere, delicious breakfast, tasteful coffee, oh the list could be endless.... A definite visit advised....

Its of the main road up a single lane but well worth a visit. plenty parking and the coffee and cake was great, The views is so great to. Well worth a visit. The staff are very helpful and run by a family.

Bee’s establishment is absolutely delightful! The views are breathtaking and the breakfast we had was delicious and plentiful! Also, it was so much fun meeting and talking with Bee, the owner! If you’re in the area, be sure not to miss this opportunity for a delightful experience!

Hands down the best breakfast we’ve had! Took the mother in law for a birthday breakfast and non of us were disappointed, amazing food, amazing views, lucky with the weather and the staff are amazing … when I say staff we would like to mention how welcoming, kind and friendly Saskia was, a business can have everything but the staff primarily make or break an experience and ours was definitely made so Thankyou very much

Beautiful views. Staff were friendly and probs hands down one of the best sausage and cheese toasts I have had definitely will be back.

I'd heard lots about this place but never got around to visiting - until now. The reputation is well deserved. Great loaded fries (see picture) in a scenic spot, also great service. The log cabins you sit in have comfortable chairs with cushions which I found very cost. There's also parking on site. Will be back :)

First time here as a treat on a Sunday morning, and we absolutely loved the place itself and the set up is perfect. Two full English breakfast with quality produce BUT was stone cold! We was so hungry so we did eat it but it wasn’t pleasant “ cold food.” The staff listened, was apologetic and said they hope it wouldn’t put us off visiting again? Sadly it has…maybe a token gesture or partial refund would have made things better in this instance. £27 for 2 breakfast a bottle of water and a coffee would have been perfect if it was hot!

Been here a few times over the years and has been great to watch the business grow. There's now lovely huts, blankets and more variety Food/ drink on offer. Staff are friendly. Dog friendly. They sometimes hold special events, I.e Santa at Xmas. It's lovely to stop off on walk with great views over Manchester, also dog friendly. Unfortunately I think it's getting too expensive, Food is very nice but quite basic in presentation and napkins / cutlery were not provided last time I went.

Just want to thank Bee’s Coffee Pot for the best afternoon tea I have ever had. The staff made us welcome with Prosecco on arrival and soft drinks for me driving. The toasties were tasty and came with fries and then to top it off out came a mini picnic bench with 5 different desserts which were all 10/10. Such a gem, thanks for a lovely afternoon always gone above and beyond for all of us thanks nat and the team ❤️👊🏻💪🏻

Absolutely love this place, been many times staff and owners are amazing, contrary to a recent 1 star review by a family who took their own picnic so obviously had no upbringing or common courtesy and so were rather upset when the owner pointed out you don't bring your own picnic to an establishment that serves, food you don't do it, they did slate Bees coffee pot on google which was totaly unjustified the family portray themselves as total arrogant individuals, we have never had a problem but then again we would not take our own picnic to a food establishment, some of us were brought better and taught to respect, this is a proper little gem, No Picnics Allowed..

On our first visit to this establishment, we were excited to enjoy a lovely picnic that I had prepared as a family of five. However, we were unaware of the policy that prohibited outside food, as the owner informed us. Apologetically, we promptly put away our food, even though we had already ordered drinks at the hut so still would have been taken up space. Unfortunately, the owner approached us with an unpleasant attitude, which was quite disheartening considering our sincere apologies. Seeking to make amends, I approached the hut to apologize, but was met with aggression and threats from the owner. I calmly expressed that if we had been informed politely about the no outside food policy and given a menu, we would have gladly ordered from the establishment. It is truly unfortunate that such a beautiful place had to be marred by this incident. The owner concluded the conversation by using inappropriate language in front of other customers including children and telling us to get off her property, leaving us deeply disappointed and shocked by such disrespectful behaviour. So be warned this may be the welcoming you get and you clearly can’t just order drinks without food.

Really nice breakfast and the biscoff hot choc was AMAZING! Nice views and staff were really friendly. Warm huts with wood burners and blankets so nice even when its cold and rainy. Just be warned if using apple maps, it may take you up no entry road so use another map app!

A lovely spot for a sweet treat and brew or in my case a packed breakfast wrap! Hot chocolate came with plenty of whipped cream and marshmallows. The wrap was perfectly filling. Plenty of picnic benches or cabins for cover in the rain. All with a lovely view. The drive from the main roads up the bridle way was tight at a few points but even a van got up there so don’t let it put you off, it’s worth it! Sufficient parking around the cabins (heated with log fires too). Staff were friendly and pointed us in the direction of an easy to follow walk which was a loop round in a total of about a hour. Picked up some cakes and flapjacks to take afterwards which were all lovely. Toilet was a portaloo so not sure on accessibility but rest of the place is flat.

Love bees coffee pot. Been a few times and each time never disappointed. Me and my friend visited for lunch he had tomato soup and a toastie and I had the Philly steak which was delicious! Will be visiting again soon for another 😋 lovely place staff are so friendly :)

We have just been for food ordered a philly steak the meat was awful like sandwich beef heated up it was not enjoyable I think when you have had a proper one from kirk buthers in styal it shows what a proper philly is.

Visited a few times in past few years. Always been impressed with hot drinks we had. Visited as coiple for first time as hyped it up to hubby and was quite underwhelmed sadly. Hot day but very windy. Just one of those things. Staff very welcoming. Placed order loaded fries.couple.milkshakes and a philly cheese steak (think that what called. ) Fries were good Milkshakes nice Philly steak ok but disappointing as on a little muffin not as advertised. All in all. Food ok. Very overpriced

WOW WOW WOW! what an amazing place for all the family. Staff are so attentive and friendly and will do anything to help. The food is also brilliant considering the size of the kitchen the chefs work in. My wife had the loaded fries and I had the chicken wrap, absolutely devoured the lot. We ordered cakes to takeaway as we were so stuffed, fresh and homemade. They also attend for dogs very well, offering dog pots and dog friendly pupichinos. Couldn’t speak more highly of the place and the staff. Will definitely return

Seen loads on Instagram and heard good things about the place so thought we’d pay a visit… I’m not sure it lives up to the hype if I’m honest. Beautiful sunny day but it’s absolutely freezing up where the Bee Coffee Pot is based, super windy, make sure you bring a coat or hoodies. (I know they can’t influence the weather). It was too cold to sit in the huts because they are completely shaded, and it’s too cold to sit in the open as you get battered by the winds. We were tempted to wait in the car. Family in front of us in the queue ordered a full English breakfast, however when it was our turn to order apparently the full English breakfasts had stopped. It was 11.50am, so not sure what time the cut off is. My husband order a bacon, sausage & egg muffin instead… (main ingredients of the full English, so I’m not sure what the issue was). Even though it wasn’t particularly busy we waited the best part of an hour for our food. My husbands breakfast muffin was nice. I had the crispy chicken wrap which again was ok. My aperol spritz was refreshing, thumbs up! The staff seemed nice and were doing their best but I’m just not sure we’d return. Maybe I built it up in my head before we got there, to be something it wasn’t.

We visit bees often. I go and meet friends, go with my boyfriend, take the kids, take the dog and we even go with the horses.. it’s so versatile and the food and views is great. They have now added cabins with wood burners for colder days. It’s brilliant as a family treat with the dog for a different experience. All the staff are super friendly and my children even ride over with their friends on their ponies now and the staff go above and beyond to make sure they have a nice experience. It’s a 5* from us everytime
