The best restaurants in St. Helens North West

My mates subways were made wrapped and dished across the counter within 40 seconds I wasn’t looking forward to my order because I seen how poorly they was made the employee wasn’t wearing a face mask and no gloves while making my subway so I questioned her and she replied with a cheeky attitude looked at her mate and said what I had asked her and looked at me with a rude face , my subway was cold and I’m evenly distributed with meat and salad will not be coming here again terrible service !!

I.found it extremely rude that all the staff and what I assume to be a delivery driver spoke who came in, in front of me spoke in a foreign language for a least 15 minutes. The only English was to ask what I wanted and to send me in my way. Felt very uncomfortable.

there seem to be a lot of negative reviews for this costa but our experience was completely the opposite very well staffed great drinks which are at the going rate highly recommended

I’ve placed two orders in the past two months, and unfortunately, both experiences have been very disappointing. The first order arrived with the wrong pizza, and today’s order was incomplete, included burned food, and highlighted a noticeable decline in meat quality once was on of the best kebabs in town but now become one of the worst with unappealing and rubbery meat. If you prioritize quality and reliable service, I would strongly recommend considering other options.

I've been eating and ordering from here for the last 25years. Tonight, I was a little shocked. My order came and I know that everyone is cutting corners, but the chicken I got today, I suspect, Is pre frozen and then re cooked. It was over burnt and horrible. I will always be fair when leaving reviews but the quality in comparison has rapidly declined in a short space of time and I've not eaten it.

Omg avoid it was disgusting all grey it was horrible. It was just terrible. I have put the menu in the bin with the food where it belongs.

We had a takeaway. There was no seasoning at all. It was cooked, but without seasoning. Do not buy here

Every time I walk by the back of this place it stinks of dog poo! God knows what it's like on the inside if I can smell it from the street! I'd dread to think when it rains where that's dripping in to 🤢

Asked for jacket potato with chilli, should have come with a salad. Plate arrived with crisps instead of salad. Initially no explanation, no apology, when questioned just said we’ve ran out of salad, so I’ve put some crisps on instead as if they were doing me a favour. I would of preferred if they had come out and apologised, offered a discount or a free drink before assuming I wanted crisps - fortunately I haven’t got an allergy but I didn’t want crisps. The chilli was actually nice but as a dish was let down.
