The best restaurants in Ancoats and Clayton Manchester North West

I have never been so humiliated in my whole life. 1st time visiting Manchester. Arndale centre. The Costa on the bottom floor. 1st of all they wudnt accept my friends money because it was northern Irish. My husband stuck up for her and told the girl it's all Sterling. She then proceeds to tell my husband she wasn't serving him... he then tells me and I go up and ask what the problem was with out money. She said we accept Scottish money but not yours. I told her this was discrimination. She then proceeds to call security and 3 guards ask us to leave with our items even though we paid for sit in. Costa you should be ashamed of yourself. Totally disgusting.

Food was meh. Would advise against the streak kebab as its has very little steak and what is there, is mostly bits of fat or gristle.

My pork on toasted sourdough bread was really dry and a challenge to eat. However, the accompanying green leaf salad was lovely. The service was very good, and the music playlist very enjoyable; definitely bonus points there!

Got to be one of the worst greggs in the country everything is always cold for some reason says its open to 9pm yet go at 4pm and it's shut... staff our just straight up useless go in at 12pm dinner time and nothing is ready 🤦‍♂️ shut it down and start again...

Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll go here again. my oreo donut was like a stale cake. It took over an hour to put some store bought Donuts in a bag. I also got a different ice cream to what I ordered (although I still like vanilla)

Used to be a regular customer many years ago. Went to see snow patrol. And afterwards we walked to Hawkins as the food was always really nice. Got there 3 mins before they shut. Customer in front of us and just got told we are now shut. Said just 2 plain kebabs as it was still on. Got told no we are shut.

What happened to this restaurant? I used to order Pork in Hong Kong-style sauce, and it wasn‘t bad. Why have reviews and grades been so low?

Ordered Caramel Latte , service was quick ,but drink was terrible very watery consistency to it had already started to walk away and was in a rush to catch train otherwise I would have returned it

I was charged a bill of the wrong table. The manager advised he had refunded it however I have never received this back. I have called, emailed and left multiple messages and I am being ignored by all channels. Appalling service and disgusting approach by management.

Worst kebab I have ever had ! Looks nothing like the published photos cold flatbread with red cabbage in the bottom and a minute bit of chicken wrapped in foil for £12

I paid £18 for 2 MEALS a meal normally comes with a drink I got a 6 nuggets chips a double chicken burger and very little chips no drinks and I had to ring the shop as the status was telling me it was delivered the man I spoken to said 2mins it came
