This place as gone down hill and it's sad the kebab was cold and the meat does not taste like it did years ago no lemon juice on it it's like they just want you in and out no customer service

Recieved my fries in a small sweat bag , they say they always been in a small bag which is wrong Hawkins fries have always been in a large bag

Pizza was disappointing. Only pepperoni, barely any meat variations on the meat feast, too much cheese, no cucumbers for kebab, presentation of food was mediocre and service just kept saying they didn't have several items in stock and barely any sauce variation.

Everyone and everything is absolutely perfect, they people are extremely benevolent with a great personality. Can only say their kindness cannot be explained in words.

I highly recommend the garlic bread with cheese: It's delicious, and always perfectly cooked. They also do a great cheeseburger. Though my son loves their chicken nuggets and fries.

Not what it used to be, been coming here 20+ years on and off, when the staff used to wear white shirts and the staff used to smile and make small talk. Mixed kebab you get very little chicken these days, i dont think its marinated anymore very little flavour. In the old days they looked happy to serve you good qaulity food now it seems give as little as possible. Not enough sauce and mostly oninions on the kebabs.

I've been here a few times now and never had a bad experience. I'm quite happy to bypass all the local takeaways near me for a 20 mile round journey. Slightly expensive the kebabs are but they make that up with the portion size so you can't really complain. Excellent chilli sauce that goes with the kebab, its not hot but full of flavour! Finally polite staff who all make an effort to look respectable by wearing shirts and ties. I definitely recommend this place!

Pizza came with salami on top not even part of the pizza just placed on top! Pizza tasted off , like meats were out of date , got a kebab was ok , not like the Hawkins used to be . Never order again after the meats on the pizza were off disgusting place avoid at all cost

Been going to Hawkins 20+ years! Food is always above expectations, get a lot for your money and kebabs are the best around. Chips are made fresh to order, not soggy. Excellent service, polite and friendly on arrival, everyone cooking makes you feel welcome. Would recommend!

I used to order from here all the time. Recently the quality of the meat and the amount is very poor. The Nan bread was very nice as always but it’s like the 3rd bad kebab I’ve had now and £20 for 2 kebabs is not exactly cheap but you don’t mind if they’re good quality.

Ordered food at 10pm , food came almost an hour and a half later missing the pizza and drinks , rang Hawkins and they said it was a mistake and they are closed now and near Birmingham so nothing they can do , disgusting customer service .

That was the worst kebab and chips I have had in years the chips were chip casing tasted like the chips were done on the lunch run - not impressed at all

Been ordering from here for 2 years. Ordered food tonight which wasn't nice. Phoned to complain for the boss to have an attitude and told us he will block us for complaining 😡. Rubbish food, rubbish attitude. Won't be recommending this place again.

Really nice kebab and chips. Been using hawkins for over 20years and they have never let me down. Pizzas are good too, especially the hot shot pizza.

The best chicken kebab I've had. Massive chunks of beautifully flavoured grilled chicken and so much of it! The chips are also a winner!

Food arrived still really hot, super happy with that! The delivery driver was so polite. Arrived early and was really nice.

Second time in two days i wrent here and it was a bad experience thw guy with the long grey hair playing with his hair not washing his hands then touching food after such a shame and is over priced for what you get i use to go here wen i was a kid and it was the best i remember the big bald guy telling the staff what to do now he sits behind watching and not saying anything 😢

Leaving the meat in the bain marie to long I like my meat straight off the spit the quality has dropped lately a lot and the pots of sauce they charge u for have gone from small to tiny used to love it here but its on the decline

After looking at some of the poor reviews, it really does surprise me. Maybe a bit expensive for kebabs but the quality is exceptional (even warmed up in the microwave) your decision is, do you want to pay a bit more for a really good kebab, or go cheap and get a cheap tasting kebab. I will keep paying a bit more and really enjoy my food.

Iv been using this kebab house for years now i dont usually get it delivered i ordered a doner kdbab last night and it was cold and greasy when i phoned to let them know they was rude and put the phone down on me i will never use this shop again theres another kebab shop up the road i will be using that one from now on the food is bad and the staff are very rude

Can you please never send the person who delivered my food today, so unprofessional, and dropped my money on the floor, plus her family have caused trouble with mine for the last 7yrs

Although the food was early it was cold, the Doner meat was dry and nasty, items were missing, ie tray of chilli peppers, won't be ordering from here again.

I hate doing poor reviews but the standard has slipped here big time. Last 3 orders have all been wrong. Decided to call into the shop to collect a telephone order to make sure it was right this time. Even after repeating the order in the shop upon arrival I got home and once again the orders wrong. Whilst in the shop the phone rang twice with complaints about orders being wrong for delivery. Yes mistakes get made but when your staff are not concentrating and end up confusing each other and it’s clear to see that’s happening. Hawkins for me is trading on a good name that was earned years ago yet currently they’re no better than anywhere else local. Phoned the shop afterwards to explain it’s wrong and they lad didn’t have a clue. Told him straight , “you’ve lost a customer now”

Absolutely disgusting kebabs are always dry nan/pitas always burnt staff are rude and disrespectful. Take 2 hours to arrive rip you off for delivery fee and to add to the situation the nothing is nice from there.

Pizza wasn’t cooked the toppings and cheese literally slid of and the pizza wasn’t even cut up there chilli sauce was literally the tomato base for pizza absolutely laughable, disgusting food!

Paid £6.20 for a bunch of meat on bread basically! It came with no salad (no option to add this on) and no sauce! Rip off! The donner meat and chips came with a very small bit of salad which was mainly onions and a small splodge of sauce! Definitely not worth the money! Won’t be ordering again! And £4 to get it delivered! Rubbish!

i ordered donner kebab and chips also ordered kebab meat and chips it turned up late and cold also I phoned up to explain the staff member he would sort it and he didnt and this time they missed my chips out off my order very poor tonight really was

I could make a slip and slide with the outragous amount of greece i feel as if they poured the access on my chips absolutly awful experience the workers were kind but the food wasnt as inviting.

On a Sunday night 15mins before they were due to close I made a big order of about 10 pizzas, plus fries and garlic breads The staff were so patient, kind and accommodating. Food was delicious and ready in like something like 20!!!! BIG thank you 😍

Chicken burger bun was burnt so could not be eaten. onion rings over done. Chips and kebab meat tasted heated up. And they never put drink in that was paid for. A waste of money.

Nice clean place food was good but I like my Donna meat done on the grill they don't do on grill customers always right 😂😅

Really delightful chips. Some of best ever from a takeaway. Bit inconsistent some items amazing and some others comparably only ok or a bit bland in comparison.

Fries was inedible, very disappointing

after paying £21.35p for 3 donna kabab the meat was very dry and tasteless i had no salad or chille sauce with my order this is the second time this has happend as a head chef and customer i took one bite and chucked my entire 3 large donna kababs in my bin disgusted rip of.stephen clayton manchester.

Two of my items came with no sauce on them. The donner kebab on naan bread had no sauce and no salad so I had to eat it dry but the food was tasty tho !!

Excellent pizzas. Much better than what you get at the well known pizza places and better value. The staff are very friendly too.

We have always used Hawkins but tonight it was disgusting the chips were rock hard and cold obviously warm ups the donner meat was all shrivelled and dry I will be phoning up to speak to the manager and i won't be visiting again put right off shame really as they are nice guys but food and standard let them down

Always enjoy a kebab from here and food came earlier than expected only problem was I asked for chillies on my kebab and they didn't add them might be worth adding it to the order menu as I've asked a couple of times and not recieved them. Other than that great food and great service as always from Hawkins.

Ordered our food for 6.30 pm but food was delivered at 4.30 pm although I did phone them to let them know and they redelivered it at the correct time free of charge
