Greggs - Clayton in Manchester

Got to be one of the worst greggs in the country everything is always cold for some reason says its open to 9pm yet go at 4pm and it's shut... staff our just straight up useless go in at 12pm dinner time and nothing is ready 🤦‍♂️ shut it down and start again...

I quite like Greggs food, but like all cafes the food is only as good as the person serving it on the day. Unfortunately, the day I visited here was not a good day. Greggs coffee and sausage roll is great, but not when the sausage roll is barely warm, and the coffee is not much warmer either. Ironically, the almost cold sausage roll came in a bag marked “Caution: Freshly baked products (especially the fillings) may still be very hot. Please take care to avoid injury.”

Its Greggs, obviously great. Can't beat it for a breakfast special.

Food fresh and good quality and price

The usual good value food and drink. Also nice and bright seating area. The coffee is the best I have tasted at Greggs.

It's a must on breakfast....I work the odd nights and it's a hard earned treat on the way home....sausage and bacon barman and a brew ...maybe the odd pasty or sausage roll too ...always nice and hot. Staff welcoming and friendly...get up early you lazy lot and treat yourself

I have greggs regularly as I drive for work and have never felt the need to review until today. I was served by a lovely lady who was very pleasant. The food was cooked perfectly and hot and the coffee even tasted better today. The selection available was good and the store was clean even though it was busy.

Purchased a magic bag on the map and on entering the store to collect, I heard a staff member sat here come the vultures for their bags!!! Definitely needs some customer service training! Never have I been spoken to or about in this manner. I pulled him up on this and he tried to deny it and wouldn’t even look at me or apologise. I will never go back in this store!

Gregg's Ashton Old Road Is The Best I Have Ever Visited. Well Run.

Really fresh coupled with great service from staff who had helped not only explaining about products but also provided exceptional service . Date visited 14th August 18:45 . Thanks guys well impressed .

The sausage rolls and chicken fillets were good, service was quick and efficent. Free parking available also.

I recently stopped by Greggs for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their food. The pastries and sandwiches were fresh and tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. The prices were also very reasonable. I was really impressed by Greggs and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a great experience!

It's Greg's a bakery takeaway shop. But I will say since they introduce delivery the service ins8de the shop has become a lot slower and the staff seem stressed

Cheese & Onion pasty at £1.70? The filling was more flowery and less cheesy. Rather expensive.

0955. No baguettes no bacon and told not not cooking any more!! Very poor service when they serve breakfast till 1100. 26/08/22 Tried another visit to see if any better service. 1035 am and once again told nothing left for breakfast!!! Told nothing else will be made even though whilst in the shop at least 10 other people asked for breakfast. Get a grip of this shop greggs you state you serve breakfast till 11.00 each day !!!! Very poor

Not enough staff on at 7am today . 5 people in Q behind me all moaning about the wait !!

I have had a few problems with orders , but to be honest mostly down to just eat and there drivers not this store , but they go out of there way to resolve and help you out with the problem every time the staff are very helpful and do everything they can to help out

It's Greggs. Where in the North of England would it ever get less than 5 stars. sausage roll... mmmmm

Lovely pasty but only just warm. Egg roll very good. Lack of choice of cakes but could be the time we called in.

Bad customer service from one Annette snelson the other girls felt they needed to apologise as she helped her self and left the queue waiting for food at peak times 9am I needed to get to work wasn’t impressed at all

Got to say through 1st lockdown not being able to have a warm stake bake and a custard caramel was hard. Moment those doors opened I panicked bought. So no need to say how good they are
