Upper Crust in Manchester

Stopped here for food. Was served by Jonathan and Amal. Both lovely, pleasant and polite, a credit to your business. It was a lovely afternoon. The food was really nice. It was clean and great value for money.

Staff was aggressive and very rude and intimidating. Never step foot near that food stall again

Almost £8 for a "Sausage Baguette". Well to be precise, half a baguette which contained half a sausage. I actually checked the floor to see if I'd dropped any sausage. Absolute disgrace guys. Won't ever use Upper Crust anywhere again.

Dined at Upper Crust whist waiting for our flight. Picked up two baguettes small coffee bottle of beer nearly £23 not cheap. Young man behind counter could do with some training in manners and how to smile

Queued for 20 minutes to discover 2 of 4 sandwiches for some reason could not be heated, so ended up with a cold bacon and a cold all day breakfast baguette, bizarrely others were fine to heat. An absolute waste of money, bacon sandwiches in particular were thoroughly unappealing, but none were very nice. Cost almost 40.00 for4 sandwiches and 4 drinks. Daylight robbery for such poor quality. Also, whilst it may have been 5am, wouldnt hurt your staff to paint a smile on their face and to have a little patience and apologise for the delay. Instead they were unfriendly and snappy. Did try to find a contact number to raise this before leaving a review, but finding a contact number or email via the website is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Would leave zero stars if possible and in future will buy a Boots or WH Smith meal deal, both of which are higher quality, far tastier and almost half the price. The Upper Crust chain need to review this particular outlet as a matter or priority, as it does not present the chain in a positive light.

I always try to avoid tarnishing someone’s business, but this was truly disappointing for a cafe at an airport. For the price you pay, this food is disgraceful. Ordered the salmon and cream cheese for £8.29, only to receive a very small amount of salmon, an absolute rip-off. Sickening. It’s claimed to be freshly baked, but it wasn’t. When I asked for the food to be heated up, I was told they aren’t allowed to. The queue was terribly disorganised, with two people cutting in front. Avoid if possible. Definitely not worth the 4.4 stars. Owner, take note.

Food was abysmal. The £8.98 got me a pathetically sized sausage baguette and drink, I’d be surprised if the sausage actually contained any meat. Avoid at all costs!

Absolute disgrace streaky bacon priced on board £5.99 price as per photo £7.19 Smoked ham and cheese £ 6.69 charged £7.99 and has the audacity to say streaky bacon prob 3 rashers I'm livid Smoked ham and cheese was rubbish try putting a new price list up not ripping off Captured Audience never again

There is a decent selection of sandwiches at Upper Crust. I opted for the all day breakfast sandwich. It was a good size and had a good amount of filling, including sauce. It was relatively expensive.

Disappointing service. Three people behind the counter and no one seemed to know what they’re doing. Working at such location, where everyone is in a hurry to catch a flight, one would expect the staff to be a more organised and efficient, especially when not busy. Waited to get served while all three people stood over the till not sure what’s going on.

Great stop off in Terminal one. Not as busy as the other food outlets. They have phone/pc charging points which is handy. The staff are ver friendly and welcoming especially the beautiful Maria who greets you with her lovely smile 😊

Upper Crust (mcr Airport) continues to be my 'go to' places for staff break. Today has been a busy day with providing special assistance to passengers. In the busyness, I left my wallet by accident. The staff were very courteous and understanding. It's the kind of service which comes with having dedicated, Friendly and customer centric staff members. Well done Upper Crust!

Tea like dishwater full of milk wasn't asked if we even wanted it with milk . Bacon roll full of fat on cheap nasty bacon at £4.79 for a tiny roll . Save your money and avoid !!

We ordered a bacon bap and a sausage bap with coffees. The bacon bap was disgusting 🤮 it was barely cooked, infact it was more on the raw side than cooked. It was so bad that I removed the bacon from the bap, only to find that the bap smelt of raw bacon, so I couldn't even eat the bap! The sausage bap wasn't much better either, it too was undercooked! Needless to say, neither of us ate any of the food that we purchased, a complete waste of money! And as for presentation, it was absolutely shocking! To sum up, I've had much better from a roadside van! Tip. If you are travelling through Manchester Airport T1 and you need something to eat, do yourself a big favour and eat elsewhere!!

We called at upper crust for bite to eat before flying home, I ordered Italian melt warmed up, when it arrived the bread was really hot but the tomato and mozzarella cheese was so cold that the sandwich tasted awful, my partner also ordered chicken club sandwich and same again the bread so hot but the filling cold. Very disappointed.

Got a tuna mayo baguette for lunch, service was fantastic and friendly, place was clean with plenty of seating available.

Firstly we were short changed, I had an egg and cheese which smelt like wet dog and hubby had a bacon one which was more fat and rind than actual bacon meat. Both unedible and went in the bin...... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP
