Oh dear, what a cheap dreary place, with poor service and worse food. The coffee scolding hot, insepid dishwater. Avoid at all costs!

Terminal one is almost 3rd world, but at least you can have a decent brew and a butty here.

Maybe I had an off day experience... The guy infront of me walked away after ordering so the cashier had to canx everything only then for the guy to return. Very strange situation with nothing said just bad vibes.... The I got my baguette which was heated up. Served in a paper bag. Damp. That proceeded to fall apart when being eaten. Both the bag and the baguette. Grim. The music was ridiculously loud too.

Christmas and amal were absolutely amazing and we had great service

As mentioned in early review was charged same for a sausage baguette which was only half in size and only had 1 & 1/2 sausages inside sliced. Not good value for money so clearly management haven't addressed any concerns made earlier.

Angel was amazing! I wanted tea and couldn't decide and Angel recommended their usual order to me (standard black tea with pistachio syrup) and it was amazing. All staff were so lovely and friendly. Given it was so early in the morning it was lovely to be met with such a warm welcome ❤️

We have a lovely customer experience from Amal ,she was extremely warm and helpful and we found the hot drinks amazing especially the Pumpkin spice latte and great place to charge near by, and the sandwiches filling!

The hot chocolate was great. Amal was helpful with showing me all hot and cold options, opted for the bhaji and turmeric hummus. Really good

Ordered a ham and cheese melt with a coffee, served by Jonathan and Amal who were polite, friendly and extremely helpful, with my ordering. Shop area was clean, tidy, as was dining area. I would recommend ordering from upper crust, to other family’s travelling.

The lady behind the counter served me the warm coffee exactly the taste I wanted & the guy who has his hair tied up did wonderful job in keeping the place tidy. I have noticed this busy place has only two people running it and did an amazing job with serving and tidying up. Will surely visit again.

Fantastic service by the lady who served me, wish I'd caught her name. I used the too good to go and got 3 baguettes for £3.15 which is so good especially for an airport.

Bland, hugely overpriced, rubbish. Better food in hospital.

Almost £8 for a "Sausage Baguette". Well to be precise, half a baguette which contained half a sausage. I actually checked the floor to see if I'd dropped any sausage. Absolute disgrace guys. Won't ever use Upper Crust anywhere again.

Dined at Upper Crust whist waiting for our flight. Picked up two baguettes small coffee bottle of beer nearly £23 not cheap. Young man behind counter could do with some training in manners and how to smile

Queued for 20 minutes to discover 2 of 4 sandwiches for some reason could not be heated, so ended up with a cold bacon and a cold all day breakfast baguette, bizarrely others were fine to heat. An absolute waste of money, bacon sandwiches in particular were thoroughly unappealing, but none were very nice. Cost almost 40.00 for4 sandwiches and 4 drinks. Daylight robbery for such poor quality. Also, whilst it may have been 5am, wouldnt hurt your staff to paint a smile on their face and to have a little patience and apologise for the delay. Instead they were unfriendly and snappy. Did try to find a contact number to raise this before leaving a review, but finding a contact number or email via the website is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Would leave zero stars if possible and in future will buy a Boots or WH Smith meal deal, both of which are higher quality, far tastier and almost half the price. The Upper Crust chain need to review this particular outlet as a matter or priority, as it does not present the chain in a positive light.

I always try to avoid tarnishing someone’s business, but this was truly disappointing for a cafe at an airport. For the price you pay, this food is disgraceful. Ordered the salmon and cream cheese for £8.29, only to receive a very small amount of salmon, an absolute rip-off. Sickening. It’s claimed to be freshly baked, but it wasn’t. When I asked for the food to be heated up, I was told they aren’t allowed to. The queue was terribly disorganised, with two people cutting in front. Avoid if possible. Definitely not worth the 4.4 stars. Owner, take note.

Food was abysmal. The £8.98 got me a pathetically sized sausage baguette and drink, I’d be surprised if the sausage actually contained any meat. Avoid at all costs!

Jonathan Herd gave us exemplary service today, extremely helpful and put a smile on our face whilst our flight was delayed! :).
