Great 'secret' bar - well worth a visit

Great bar. Good choice of beers. Lovely cocktails. Staff are friendly and professional. Great atmosphere. Always clean and tidy.

Estábamos visitando Liverpool desde Londres y estábamos muy impresionados por la comida increíblemente sabrosa, fresca y la gran selección de opciones vegetarianas. El ambiente informal y relajado lo hizo aún más agradable, y el servicio fue puntual, atento sin ser exagerado. Lo recomendaría!

Qué pérdida que no he visitado este bistró antes. la comida, el servicio, etc es único y merece 5 estrellas. Como podrán apreciar en Liverpool estamos mimados con muchos restaurantes pero a muchos les falta ese ambiente personal Soy quisquillosa y sin intención perfeccionista a la hora de comer fuera pero esta noche he encontrado uno de los mejores. Sinceramente si no lo has probado reserva calidad, servicio y el ambiente acogedor no te decepcionará 👏

This is a real gem in the centre of Liverpool. It's a traditional cafe, no thrills, no fancy coffees, no pretence, and no ridiculous prices. Understandably they're a small business so can't afford to take card payments for under £5, which is fair.

We had hoped that this would be the highlight of our visit to Liverpool. Sadly, it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, overall it was very good, but the food was ranging from inedible oversalted kale to outstanding. There have been too many mistakes for a five-star experience. Let's start with the kale. It came with the otherwise very good Turbot. We rarely complain, but it was too tough to chew and very much oversalted. We appreciated that the service apologised and offered us dessert wine on the house. That wasn't the only mistake, however. The chips were too floppy and the quail egg in the scotch egg was overpowered by the casing. The dish of the evening was clearly the smoked eel! An explosion of taste and a surprising combination of textures. The same goes for the Baked Alaska - what a delight! And the chicken comes through at third place. Would we return? Probably not until the quality becomes more consistent. Was it poor control at the passe or were the dishes supposed to be how they were? We don't know.

Gran cafetería, excelente desayuno. Sin duda recomendaría una visita, incluso si no estás en el fútbol o / y un fanático del Liverpool (ubicado justo al otro lado de la carretera del suelo). Muy sabroso y con buena relación calidad-precio

Understaffed -the queue was enormous -and ridiculously over priced -they put £3 on the price of a glen affric bevvie ! No body cleans tables -swamp ! Won't bother again - and no I don't recommend it to anybody ! Shame on you !

Great place for a pre-match pint.. Welcoming atmosphere and decent beer.. The burgers were also great!

The venue is an old pub, little has been spent on doing it up but it is clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The zigni and njera were awesome, hot plentiful and very tasty. Zigni we had one with rice and one with njera. They also deliver. Well recommend this place.
