Georgie Porgy Cafe anfield in Liverpool

Been here a number of times and breakfast has always been good. Service good. Lots of LFC memorabilia on the wall.Will certainly visit again.

Great place for LFC fans with loads of great pictures and trophies related to club. Breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely go again next time when visiting Liverpool.

Usually go to this place when Liverpool FC have an early kick off. Food is great and staff are usually quick at serving. Excellent selection of food and hot and cold drinks on offer

This marvellous little cafe was just what the doctor ordered on a cold and wet day. We only popped in so I could use the loo but ended up staying for around three hours as the tea was THAT good. We were in town for my daughter and granddaughter to see Taylor Swift. The food looked fantastic and was freshly cooked. Alas we were still full from breakfast and so, didn't try any. In short, a fantastic, INDEPENDENT, traditional cafe. Ideal place to go for a pre match cuppa or lunch. Footnote: as a supporter of Manchester United, even the massive collection of Liverpool FC memorabilia could put me off. 10/10

We got the bus from the city centre to do the Anfield stadium tour. We decided to breakfast here rather than in town. I think a five star rating is overstating things, but if you are coming out for the tour or a match, it is worth a visit. Staff are friendly. The place is clean with lots of Liverpool F.C. stuff on the walls. The fry was fine, nothing special. Coffee is instant.

There have always been good chippys around Anfield but cafés have been few and far between. This is exactly what was required. In fairly early and queue moved along quickly. The service is efficient and friendly. We were only in for a mug of tea but noticed the food looked good. Pie, chips mushy peas and gravy.....great pre match grub. Some interesting memorabilia on the walls. Great tour, great café, great game, great day....

You’re not getting a gourmet meal but it’s a great place for a breakfast before your LFC experience. Lots of fan memorabilia and it’s right next door to the Anfield stadium. Good and simple menu.

Was recommended this place as all I can say is wow wall in and there is so much Liverpool FC picture about and photos which was nice to see, we paid £16 for a coke coffee and full English and breakfast barm, the cutlery when going to collect was well not that clean to be honest or even full so they don’t clean the night before or put out fresh in the morning the toast with the full was buttered so soft when come to eating and what I call a sausage from London to when they offered as a sausage are totally different as it was long and thin. My coffee was good as it came in a LFC cup with a T on it and the general cleanliness of the cafe was good. If I had the option of a breakfast from here or at home, home would win all day long. Also where I come from I always say thanks as walking out and get a response did that happen well No marks 5/10

Work around the corner so stopped off one morning for a brekkie. Right outside the Kop in Anfield one of the best cafes in the area by far. Always busy no matter what, however absolutely chocker on match day. Full English breakfast and a cup of tea for £6 and it’s an absolute belter. Friendly staff aswell and the locals are sound and friendly. Highly recommend if in the Anfield area you won’t be disappointed 👍

Great locate and food delish, worth a meal lose to stadium. Enjoy any time well worth the visit, reasonably priced and lots of paraphernalia. Check it out!

Had an English breakfast, paid £8.00 for it didn't really rated it at all, the guy on the till with ginger hair had a face like a wet kipper, not friendly or appreciative of customers. The breakfast was just a bog standard breakfast greasy spoon that you could buy for £5 anyway.

Food was cold and they make you go get it yourself just put on top and shouted your food we was the only us two in the place on website said it opens at 8 o'clock didn't open until quarter past 8

After touring Anfield one of the lady security staff recommended us going here and we where not disappointed. Great mug of tea and stunning breakfast, reasonably priced two. Very clean and staff very polite. Lots of great memorabilia around a pictures to see of Liverpool FC. Will pop in next time in Liverpool.

After visiting Anfield we thought a bite to eat would be lovely. We found this lovely cafe, as soon as we walked in it made you feel welcome. The decor was superb and gave you something to look at whilst ordering and waiting on your food. The food was fantastic and the prices great. Would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely place.

After doing the Anfield Stadium tour, we called in here for dinner. It’s just opposite the stadium so perfectly placed! Loads of LFC memorabilia and cuppas are served in LFC mugs! Food was lush - I had the salt and pepper chicken pasta and it was spot on.

Visited here after visiting Anfield, great food at great prices. Used by locals and visitors. We had two breakfasts, burger and chips and according to my son the best chicken wrap he has had (24 years old) and two bottles of coke. Cost was £26....

We often go to the quarter near the phillharmonic for breakfast or the Coast in Woolton and were very happy, 3 years ago I noticed georgie porgy and wanted to give it a go, but assumed it would be cheap and poor quality feeding off...

Excellend value for money and the services was second to none. Would totally recommend this cafe and we did it after doing the Anfield experience.

We dropped in this cafe before our trip around the Anfield Stadium. Many workers in there so that’s alway a good sign. Have to say it is the best vegetarian full English breakfast I have ever eaten. Hubby said how good his breakfast was too....

Travelled from Scotland to liverpool and Visited this gem in 2019 and was amazing then! We’re back for summer and said since we booked the train tickets that its the first stop we’d do for lunch! Lovely staff, food is amazing & well priced. They were super busy too which we were glad to see. Well done guys and see you next year

Ordered two teas get served with two coffee had already left shop as was for takeaway this not the first time mistake made by staff but come on people how can someone get a order for tea wrong the last time my order was wrong it was an order for beans on toast but I get served cold beans and warm bread that hadn't seen the grill or toaster no excuse acceptable for this truly bad service even if shop is a bit busy

En un recorrido por el estadio de Anfield, le preguntamos a un miembro del personal dónde había algún lugar cercano para almorzar rápido antes de entrar. Ella recomendó este lugar y nos dijo que mucho del personal comió aquí, así que me alegro de haberlo hecho ya que la comida era deliciosa. Todos tuvimos las envolturas de pollo, mi marido y mi hijo tenían las suyas con patatas fritas. Eran encantadores, el personal era amable y agradable y el lugar estaba muy limpio y bien preparado para el distanciamiento social. Definitivamente comeré aquí nuevamente cuando visite Anfield en el futuro

El entorno es fantástico: las paredes están adornadas del suelo al techo con objetos de interés de Liverpool. Fotos de jugadores, réplicas de trofeos. Es muy kitsch. La comida es sencilla pero deliciosa. Tuve un BLT, mi marido tenía el desayuno de amigos y mi hijo tenía nuggets de pollo y patatas fritas. No es comida elegante de ninguna manera, pero eso es parte de su encanto. Es lo que es y se ha hecho realmente bien. El servicio es excelente y muy amable y, en cuanto a la relación calidad-precio, tuve tres comidas y tres bebidas y fueron 15. Lo cual, teniendo en cuenta lo sabroso que era y lo cerca que estaba del estadio, ¡no te puedes quejar!

Came here for breakfast pre Anfield tour. Great old fashioned cafe but well styled for Liverpool fans. Great brekkie inc tea and fry ups. No covid prevention we could see though other than spacing.

Great food cooked freshly for you. The atmosphere was brilliant with fans from all over the world enjoying good honest food. Will be back with the rest of my family in the future. The pictures and memorabilia were fantastic

Il locale si trova proprio davanti al mitico stadio del Liverpool....diciamo che non volevo entrare perché dall’ingresso sembrava un cantiere (scatoloni, secchi e scale da muratore) ma visto che nn c’era niente aperto in giro e faceva molto freddo ci siamo addentrati! Posto umile, carino, arredato tutto colorato in maniera semplice! Colazione con piatti in plastica e pomodori in scatola...insomma ne ho mangiato di migliori....pane già imburrato!!! Caffè all’americana; servizio veloce ma non c’era nessuno!!

Deze beoordeling is vooral ook voor de beleving. Achter “Kop side” van Anfield Stadium zit dit eetcafé, waar men de hele dag breakfast serveert. Eindelijk gaan we voor het Engelse ontbijt. Een grote mok koffie erbij uit een LFC mok, twee soorten worstjes, bloedworst, uiteraard witte bonen, en veel beboterde toast. Tweemaal met koffie en vers jus 13 pond. Kom daar maar nog eens mee. Het is wedstrijddag Liverpool-Manchester United en dus druk. Qua beleving moet je dit sowieso bezoeken. Authentieker ga je het niet krijgen.

Found this legend on trip advisor on the way to Anfield for a match with my son. Great spot, staff eat here on true morning if matches and events. You would never know who you might bump into here during the week. Very helpful and down to earth staff. Recommended for a breakie to start your match day....

Great little place near Anfield Stadium. Came after the tour and grabbed a quick bite. Good food freshly made. Had a cheese burger with fries. Cute inside - lots of Liverpool sports decor. You should recognize the name from the children’s nursery rhyme.

Looks great after the refurb and same great tasty food. We've had breakfast there a few times and it's perfect. Decided on having lunch yesterday and it was good fresh cooked food. Plenty of eateries in the area but this place is fab. Clean, reasonable prices and local people 10/10

We visited Georgie Porgy for carry out in 2018, and last week we were back in Liverpool; visited Georgie Porgy daily for breakfast. Excellent food, excellent prices, staff could not have been nicer. Looking forward to their new B&B; and we'll be back next year!

Visited this place last weekend, staff is extremely welcoming and polite. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back during our next visit! We highly recommended this place as all individuals entering this place are greeted warmly and staff is very helpful !

It is very unusual for me to write a review about a cafe/restaurant. However, I have visited Georgie Porgies several times over the last 6 weeks and felt the need to write this review. A visit to Georgies is a must if you are visiting Anfield and/or Liverpool F.C.

We stayed literally 5 minutes down the road from Anfield as we went to the LFC Christmas Ball 2018. We visited Georgie Porgy a couple of times that weekend after hearing good reviews from the staff at Anfield.

This cafe is a MUST FOR ALL LIVERPOOL FANS heading to Anfield or for any footie fan looking for some cracking grub. The food is super and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Also the Liverpool Memorbilia is excellent it is like the Liverpool museum. You are aloud to take as many photos as you want. There is also a replica of the Champions League Trophy. Again the staff let you take lots of photos with it. Definitely going back

After lfc tour looking somewhere to eat and spot the georgie pogy cafe just face to lfc i had salt and peper wrap with fries and absolutely delicious/ staff friendly too lots of picture all around the shop as well felt like i am in liverpool museum.... defintly recommend for everyone who is around the lfc stadium..

Situated right next to Anfield Stadium and a shrine to LFC I had to drag my Man Utd supporting partner inside but even he said it was worth it! The memorabilia adorning the walls didn’t seem to affect his appetite! A hearty Full English including black pudding, coffee and toast for a fiver - what’s not to like? And best of all it was cooked to perfection and non-greasy. I always have a Full English in every British city I visit and this is up there in the Top Three.
