This a fantastic little place. Gorgeous food and lovely family serving you. Amazing value, Ben a couple of times now and haven't tasted a bad dish on the menu. The meatballs are a particular highlight.

Always great food, fresh, large portions and tasty! love the staff they are fantastic. I had the chicken chaser salad today it was gorgeous- hot chicken , croutons and parmigiana. Fabbbb

Best kebabs I'm had in a very long time

Our meal was simply delicious ! I had reservations about visiting simply because I'm not really a "grill" type person. However, this was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time . I had the fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly and beautifully tender . I had the pork belly for starters which likewise was delicious and not too fatty (even for pork belly). The hispi cabbage side was yum too. The only dish that was underwhelming was my partner's starter - smoked burrata - we both found it fairly tasteless . As we both love burrata , it was disappointing . That aside, the meal really was excellent and we will definitely return. Very good wine list too.

Great Italian restaurant , amazing and friendly people, excellent food. Starters were very delicious. Homemade and fresh made pasta was cooked perfectly with lots of flavour. Enjoyed a lot. Unfortunately, had bo space left for the desert. I bet they taste good. On Sunday restaurant offers Sunday Roast deals. Highly recommended to vist.

3 x Tapas for £18. Very good choice. Good portions sizes. Good service, lady told us the history of the building. Lovely wine. Would we go again 100%.

My daughter-in-law booked for me as I wanted to take my family out for something to eat as we went to walk in the lady came out and said no children after 4oclock we had a baby who’s 7months old and was asleep then said there was a dress code I’ve never been treated so bad at a restaurant I’ve been going since there first restaurant opened but will never set foot in there again or be recommend it ,I was that shocked I lost my earring as well really bad experience

Thai food is my fave and this place really was mediocre at its best! We got 5 dishes and not one of them was half decent. Pad thai less than average, chill an garlic ribs more fat/grease than meat, char sui fan bland and the stuffed chicken wings just nasty! Not authentic Thai at all, definately won't be returning here! Over priced and made me feel ill, we left starving!

Tried to visit, checked website and social platforms if need to call to reserve. Refommened not to reserve. Turned up sbowing open online but then found it was closed for private event?? No information posted anywhere, bit of a joke

Hired this venue for a birthday party. Owner extremely helpful organising food DJ karaoke and accessories. The party was enjoyed by everyone who attended street food was fantastic lighting set the miid and dj/ karaoke Steve worked hard to include everyone. I have been to this venue before and will definitely use it again. Recommended

Not been The Tavern for a few years as felt was bit rushed and run down, but my friend informed me that it had been taken over and improved so thought why not give it a go, upon entering the restaurant it was exactly the same decor as it’s always been bit shabby could do with a little refurb, but with that being said the service was impeccable James our server was outstanding friendly attentive informative and funny, drinks arrived fast ice cold and served with a friendly smile food was gorgeous and piping hot my friend and I had the pollo Rio it was beautiful full of flavour my other friend had the Cajun Chicken which looked delicious she said it was really nice, we tried the cocktails they were delightful food not over priced service was fabulous Thanks James for your great service we will be returning
