Called in while my son was in The Royal hospital. Asked for the small breakfast but no mushrooms or tomatoes. The owner was very pleasant but after he served my coffee (I did ask for a latte but an ordinary coffee came) he carried on chatting with a bloke sat at a table. Then he went off to the kitchen. A few minutes later my breakfast came. It looked as though most of it had been deep fried. It came with mushrooms which I didn’t want, no baked beans. The egg made me heave, dirty brown white and a broken yolk undercooked centre floating in the white albumen. Bacon was a crisp and the sausage cut in half and deep fried. The toast came just buttered in the middle. Would never eat there again. I took pictures but can’t post them on here. Apart from the bloke sat at a table I was the only customer.

Order online and placed click and collect .Nowhere does it say you can’t use the drive through .We all know the line at liverpool is a joke .Waited 35 mins in line only for them to say you have to go inside to collect .You’ve already paid why can’t they just give you your order .It takes 10 seconds .

We stumbled across The Bean by accident. the weather was truly appalling outside and we just had to get in the dry, somehow and very quickly We went into "Bean" in exchange station. What a welcome, all I will say is that Charlotte, Naimh and Emily were right up there with smiles bigger than you can image, in fact I would go so far as saying "a trio of superstars". Coffee and food was as good as it gets. In fact I would argue, the best CORTADO in town. A consequence of their approach, we went back two more times in the same week. We felt like we had met some quite remarkable people. so much so, we really hope that the three of them can come to visit us on 1st March next year!!! to help us celebrate a big event. It was worth the 600 mile round trip up from (Whitstable near Canterbury). A definite return visit on the cards Thanks Phil & Gill

We love our Costa Coffee and have visited here a few times when we come to Liverpool for a match. The outside is great, very funky and arty. It is big with two floors. The staff are lovely and coffee great as usual!

I buy your sandwiches from the one stop shop in the Baltic, delicious so they are, keep it up! Honestly I would never sacrifice my life for a sandwich, but some people may call these 'sandwiches to die for'.

Nice cup of coffee thanks! Greeted by Holly who was chatty and took my order with advice when asked for (type of milk used, how many shots). Not a regular at Starbucks but would return. Holly wished me a happy holiday too! This after the the smoothest transit trough the airport ever. Lots to like today at Liverpool JL airport.

I didn’t hold out much hope for this place as it looks a bit like a pop-up, but needed coffee and something sweet while waiting for step-daughter to finish getting ready for the Taylor Swift gig! I was extremely surprised by the quality of both the coffee (delicious flat white) and the glazed doughnut was better than a Krispy Kreme IMO

First timers. Booked a table in the restaurant area. Orders nachos and steak pie. The nachos were truly amazing and definitely superior to anything you get in others pubs. The steak pie was perfect!!! I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Before starting a ten days holiday in Benidorm my twin brother and I decided to take a couple of days off work to visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, one of the first we visited was Scruffy Murphy's Pub on Harrington Street, one of two Scruffy Murphy Pubs in Liverpool City Centre, the other one is located along Mathew's street. I like the look of this pub ,interior is superb, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, great wall art, pool tables, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a great pub to unwind in. We were here at about midday ,just in time for the happy hour beer deals,we got pints of beer from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our beers. My beer was really good, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub ,its hardly surprising that this pub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Scruffy Murphy's Pub we had a great time. Scruffy Murphy's Pub is easy to locate along Harrington Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. A great pub in my opinion, well worth checking out if you're in the area.
