Becky got the morning going by allowing me to open a window on the Festive calendar. Whilst waiting for my family to arrive, i sat back and enjoyed my paper with a coffee. The staff and gorgeous food make this place!! My family enjoyed a cooked brekkie and drinks that accompanied the food. We laughed a lot, reflecting on good times. Erin ( member of staff) passed a comment that set us off laughing again! What a morning of pleasure and bonhomie! The Christmas cocktail rounded off a memorable time. I make Friday an unmissable regime save for holidays…..don’t ever change you wonderful staff! Merry Christmas to one and all!

Really Nice Food would Highly Recommend

I was staying around the corner at the Village Hotel for a conference. But a stones throw away is a veritable oasis of dining delights. Enjoyed myself twice here. Do check it out!

My wife and I held our joint 70th birthday party celebrations at Parklands. The catering was in-house. The staff were friendly and very helpful despite having had a late night due to a party the previous night, and we were very pleased with the catering, especially as 3 extra children turned up unannounced and they cheerfully provided 3 extra meals

We were staying at the hotel attached so tried eating here on first night. We queued for nearly 10 mins to get a drink and order our food. When eventually our food came the starters came with the main meal and i had asked for sweet potato fries instead of normal. I received both. When the receipt was checked they had charged me for the extra portion but the queues were too much to go back to bar. also the food we had received was not good, I didnt eat my ribs not sure if they were cooked properly. While we were there we saw many people send their food back and lots and lots of people complaining about the wait. Everyone was served their meal, the food was lovely however one person had ordered vegetarian option. Waited and waited and waited. 4 requests asking for . 20 mins after we all finished, all plates had all been taken away, the meal arrived!! Appalling service.

Staff freindly but music was to loud 2 televisions but only for watching couldn't hear anything because of the music

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning very clean lovely and clean very friendly staff. The room was lovely and the food excellent.

Food is a bit pricey 17 for fish and chips and fish wasn't the best fish.
