The best restaurants in Farndon Cheshire West and Chester North West

Lovely venue, food and service. 5 stars

We have passed The Cock hundreds of times in the last 50 years but it is over 40 years sine we last went in. When we went in there were only two other customers and despite plenty of staff waiting for our coffee seemed to take a long time. In the next half an hour the place started to fill up strange for a Thursday afternoon, and then it got really full it took us a while to work out that they were hosting a wake hence the number of staff. They went through to a private room and our food was served very quickly. It was beautifully presented and very tasty and very good value for money.

Looking for somewhere to stop for lunch, came across Lewis’s. Was pleasantly surprised with the menu options for a cafe. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Even picked up some cute cards and pretty mugs. Too full for cake - will have to go back!

After a trip to Chester Zoo, we decided to go for food within walking distance of our BnB. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the steak and fries with beef dripping. Food was delicious and cooked to each of our preferences. Would highly recommend to anyone who's in the area. Great food, great staff, and great atmosphere.

Ordered the fish and chips at £17:50 I will let the picture tell the story it was honestly smaller than a kids meal and zero effort put into making it
