What a Gem 💎, first visit and a Gold 🥇 mine. Fresh ingredients, friendly 😀 good home cooked food, even hot when I got back home. Can also sit in and eat too. Just look across the road is the Old Pagoda Nightclub in view. Thanks for delicious food (even served in Food containers NOT polystyrene that sweats food).... Found this place by chance and what a find. I'm not vegetarian but tried the butter nut squash curry and rice and walked to the river to eat it. All packaging (including knifes and forks) bio-degradable. The curry would have given my local curry house a good run for the money and not one bit of plastic in site. Outstanding value for money and a lovely view over the river. In none Covid times we would have gone to the pub but this was one of the few gains from this outbreak, a great curry overlooking the river. Only regret was I didn't buy one of those brownies.

Excellent service from friendly staff, had one of the nicest tuna melts i have ever had. Prices very reasonable and would recommend to anyone with spare time while waiting for their train.

7/1 - All food was stale and the chicken had definitely gone off. Absolutely inedible. Reported to the FSA. Extremely disappointing.

In Carlisle you can’t find much craft beer but thanks to Brewdog for saving my life because they always offer the great variety of craft beers their own brew as well as the guest breweries. Still the prices are very pocket friendly compared to other places around. The staff are really friendly and helpful to choose a drink for you incase if you don’t know much. Big seating area and there's even pool tables. Perfect for party and have great fun. Really recommend if you around in area.

Brilliant service, no complaints at all, the drinks and food were great! Not been before but will definitely be back! Only stay in Dumfries so will be rushing back! special shout out to Yarn, great guy!!

Best Chinese I've had in Cumbria since moving in March (2024). Good lavue for money - portion sizes are really good, this one actually beat me.

Would recommend the fillet stack burger was delicious
