The best restaurants in Botcherby Carlisle North West

We hired Cumbria Gourmet burgers for an event at our house where we had a large number of guests coming. The food was great and the service was brilliant.

Had our staff Christmas meal there food was delicious and great service all the staff where friendly and professional would highly recommend

Good food but they charge different to menu. Asked for sausage and large chips should be 5.40 but got charged 6.80?? I question it and they just slide menu at me and say tough...

It was a convenient location, rooms nice a clean, great breakfast. Premier inn is about 20 min walk from centre, but there are a few restaurants about 10 min away.

The server Catalina was rude. Came up to me and my friends as we were putting our bags down so we can go and order, and said "This is for customers only" in rude tone. No hi or excuse me, she just came up to us and was just rude and judged us based of how we look. A bit embarrassing at this day and age honestly, worst customer service. She needs a bit more training 😊

Waited approx 30 mins for a seat. Very slow service. Plenty empty but dirty tables not cleared while people queueing for tables. Staff like headless chickens and dont seem to have any organisation. We were served food to be told "WE WILL FETCH SOME CUTLERY SHORTLY" eventually had to get our own! Hot drinks served after food arrived. Staff need a shake up. However the food was very nice. Would return for the food but service needs looking at!

Food not bad for a quick bite to eat, didn't have to wait long for food either, the staff we encountered didn't seem to want to be there and customer service could be improved

Called in for Sunday dinner Lovely Sunday lunch great choice and Rebecca brought our drinks and took payment lovely girl really helpful great service.

I usually go to a nearby restaurant for breakfast with a friend of mine once a month but it was closed. I knew of the Lakeland Gate restaurant but only ever drove past. So rather than miss out on our planned breakfast we decided to go and try it. We were really glad we did. The staff were really friendly and very attentive and the food was excellent. I am not one for leaving feedback but on this occasion it was really deserved. Thanks you girls and we will be back
