Fabulous service we fetch the little ones in to the play area and a young lady i think called demi seen to us and was great with the kids 😀 thank you again

The quality of the food remains satisfactory, however, there appears to be some challenges with staffing levels recently. This has resulted in slower service and insufficient bar staff on match days, particularly before and after the events.

Called in here on our way up to Scotland food lovely value very good service very good. Lady who bought the food to the table very friendly would highly recommend this place on my visit today.

I took my 3 year old today with my mum. The girl who was working in the soft play was absolutely amazing, she was so kind and patient. Nothing was to much trouble for her. I don’t know her name, but she is a credit to the company.

Decent enough place though let down by the kiddies soft play area, after a full days travelling you just want to get something to eat, a drink and relax which is hard to do with screaming kids running around, I had the Big stack burger which was probably the best burger I have ever eaten, also had breakfast the next morning which was more than good enough.

Very quiet on night we were in but food and service excellent

Met friends for drinks here on Tuesday evening. The first round, we were overcharged. I queried it, and it was rectified. We had to sit in the bar area as they had started setting the tables for breakfast. There were already quite a few people sitting in that area, so it was a tad noisy. This is a place mainly for families as there is an excellent play area.

Worked well for us with our 3 yo

We had the chicken tika for 2 followed by desert amazing value for good holsome food

Gammon was all fat chips not much only best was the pudding rate 1 out of ten complain they not interested

It's first time I've been here and it was clean and tidy plus the staff were very pleasant and didn't have to wait long on food we picked what we wanted as its table service plus you could get as much as you wanted for £10 ,starters,Cereals and any amount of bacon ,sausages , egg's whatever you have for breakfast..it was great I'll be going again

Went for a family meal for my birthday. Food was quick to arrive, no complaints from anyone. Nice and easy. Would definitely go again.

The staff were very friendly.Service was seamless and very prompt.Food & beverages were reasonably priced.The restaurant,bar area and toilets were clean & tidy.A very busy and welcoming bar / restaurant.

Old battle axe behind the bar ( Old dead short hair glasses) has no customer service skills, ignores you serves people who just walked in despite the fact your standing there right in front of her paid up basically got my change thrown at me she seemed oblivious to everything..I'd put it down to her having a bad day but it's happened on a few separate visits..food probably fair for the price..although prices are going up food quality ain't..they charge for the kids indoor play, it used to be free it also closes at 7pm despite the pub being open so look out, of your kids go in the indoor play at say 18:30 they won't say anything, charge you full price roughly £3.50 per kid then it's kick out time at 19:00

Excellent service lovely food, play area great with kids

The meal was a good amount, I'm not a fan of peas being separated from the main meal, it seems to be a thing in many eateries. On the whole , all good. The waitress was polite and helpful.

Staff great always considerate about a wheelchair user. Foid great quality either cooked to order or well stocked buffet. Great value for money. Nothing is ever too much trouble no matter how busy they are. This is our new half way stop for a rest and food in our trips to visit family .

Foods ok, nothing over. Service was good.

Burger not properly cooked, caused food poisoning after 2 hours. Customer service over telephone poor. Refused to accept responsibility for their own cooking. Management were uncaring and arrogant.

Starter of prawn cocktail,Xmas dinner and we shared the profiteroles which there was loads and all delicious,

Party of 7 ordered from Christmas menu 3 coursed starters were prawn cocktail, pate and filled yourshire. Mains were Turkey dinners and sweets Perfiterols, sherry trifle. I can honestly say no one had any complaints. Very large portions, very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money with very good service. Would def recommend the Christmas menu

It's what you'd expect from a Brewers Fayre, we went for breakfast, it was a buffet style. It wasn't fantastic but for the price it was good.

Exactly what you would expect from this place. Queues to order, slow service and barely passable food.

Breakfast was cold and evening meal was ok but spoilt by kids running around causing havoc

1st time at a Brewers Fayre and the food was lovely, I sampled some of the new Christmas based meals which included some Christmas pudding. I will definitely be trying out my local Brewers Fayre and hope the cooking is just as good.

Classical bar with restaurant...food was ok drinks as well...very kind personal thanx ladies😉😘very close position to M6 ....we were there first but not last time...I recomanmded visit👍👌

Really disappointed with the sharer we got. The chef would be better suited in a crematorium then a kitchen. Staff were lovely, really dead for a Friday afternoon

Food is always lovely, well priced and lots of loyalty offers. Indoor play area is lovely, they do toddler mornings too with crafts. All the staff are lovely, Pam in the play area is brilliant

Came here with the kids, play area shut off for a party so the kids were understandably upset. Play area outside out of order. The general environment is OK, but outside isn't the cleanest, a lot of discarded fag buts out the front door of the pub and thrown food. The biggest gripe was the food quality (it wasn't great - you get what you pay for I guess). This sort of place is great for a quick bite to eat, but definitely not for food quality.

Decent food at a competitive price, decent service, decent atmosphere, busy but not overcrowded. Can be difficult to get a parking place.

Pleasant surroundings and prompt service but the draught through opening at table 36 is crippling on your neck

Standard brewers fayre restaurant. Service cheerful but bit chaotic. Had sold out of the deserts we wanted but otherwise food was tasty. Convenient for the Premier Inn next door.

Visited on Sunday and we all had the carvery. Tasty meal and refillable soft drinks. Also went into the soft play area that was clean and well supervised.

My son and i had lunch here well worth the visit 100% we will visit again

Honestly we came here for the soft play and ended up staying a good 1.5 hours having some thing to eat and a few drinks while our toddler played. We shared a platter and a few beers and really enjoyed the space. It was a bit crowded with kids but the playground attendant made sure to enforce the age/height rules on a few of the bigger kids which was really appreciated.

Worst experience We received a beef and ale pie instead of chicken pie(I never eat beef), and gave classic wings toasted in Bbq sauce instead of spicy wings and they even forgot to bring my kid's dessert!!!!!! not at all in a mood to make a scene as we were tired I wish the staff's could stop being so lethargic and unprofessional by all means 😒 and avoid such disappointments to anyone further I strongly don't recommend this place to anyone

During a work trip to Carlisle in the peak of August, enjoyed dinner and breakfast for two nights while staying at the adjoining Premier Inn. Staff created a very friendly reception and efficient meal service throughout. Breakfast selection was extensive and well cooked. Evening meal menu provided all the options you would expect with fast presentation of food to the table. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Tables needed to be cleared & wiped more quickly but the food was lovely and service good.

Reasonable prices. Food could be better portions/ quality. Great deals from time to time for families and a good play area (free outside and paid soft play inside). Definitely recommend registering for their member card.

Service? Along with 2 other groups, we waited to be seated whilst staff talked... after several minutes just seated & helped ourselves to breakfast. Our continental breakfast was entirely self-service so no 'Customer Service' not even a "Good Morning"... poor, very poor.

Excellent dog friendly restaurant, great amenities and good wholesome food. A tad expensive but comparable to other motorway services. Service was marked down as I was waiting at a till for several minutes before one of the staff tore herself away from a private conversation with another staff member for long enough to tell me I was at the wrong till and I had to rejoin a line .

Took grandparent out for birthday meal and so he could see his great granddaughter in the soft play. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the atmosphere in the softplay area and Demi was so helpful and kind

Only had father's day offer on & not the 2 meal offers before 6pm. We were there at 3 pm. Better service at McDonald's.

Food was really nice and really well priced. 4 of us had dinner , mixed grill, burger and lasagne and deserts and everyone enjoyed their meal Definitely recommend coming here for a nice dine out for a decent price

Brilliant to take kids. Unfortunately the carvery wasn't the best. Meat was tough and just a little disappointing. Thou staff were just wonderful and helpful.

Pub attached to a Premier Inn just used it for a quick drink, so can't comment on the food etc. Staff all friendly enough, was a tad noisy for my liking but that can't be helped I guess?

Disappointed. I have eaten at many Brewers fayre but this was moderate . I ordered chicken dinner and everything appeared to have been thrown together the crispy roast potatoes were burnt offerings. I kid you not . I didn't have the energy to complain it was so busy I just finished my drink and left

This premier inn for breakfast is self serve. Others in the area are cooked to order which does mean they are hotter however its really nice to choose your own. Plenty to choose from. Greeted immediately so no waiting. Booking not essential but advised.

Went yesterday the food is disgusting never will I go back in there the gammon was all fat 🤮and hard to cut through my child’s food was took away before she finished the popping chicken was rock hard and very poor service do I go on that place needs sorted waste of money

Ordered fish and chips, fish was okay but, what I didn't realise was that the chips were skin on chips and for me personally I don't like them so in all I only picked at the meal and left most of it, so unfortunately I won't be going there again.

Been several times for lunch etc. But on last visit I found the entrance to be littered with cigarette butts and the table was filthy.

The ice cream actually had real cream on the top which was not stated on the menu , and i cant take real cream

Friendly staff, nice food, and a family friendly atmosphere

Stayed at the premier inn upstairs and decided to try the meals here because it's pretty handy. Food was okay, the burger I got the first day was the most average burger I have ever eaten, which would be fine if not for the price. The continental breakfast is £7 and really isn't worth it for the spread of stale croissants, fruit juice and muesli. At night the inside is very dark and feels like a weird limial zone where I could walk out the door into 1980s Cardiff. One evening we had to wait 40 minutes for an ice cream sundae, I'm not sure if they were waiting for it to freeze.

Very disappointed. I waited to be seated as indicated but several staff just walked past and made no attempt to acknowledge or assist me. Same again when I wanted to order food at bar. The restaurant was quite empty yet the staff were disinterested. Also the food was very poor. It took less than five minutes to receive the food after ordering it. Suffice to say it was clearly reheated, dry and over cooked. I last visited the restaurant 3 years ago and it was considerably better. My experience explains why it was now so empty.

Good service food was nice. Was starting to get busy as we went around 3.30pm.

Just had the privilege to eat or at least to attempt to eat one of the worst steak I ever have. How can you serve a steak within 3 minutes ? It is a shame because other foods were ok so far.

Busy with it being half term but got food quite quickly and it was lovely .

Very good allrounder kids loved it only thing was i thought it was a tad expensive but not complaining was very good kiddies and myself enjoyed it 👌👌

Service very poor ordered a meal left off list but still charged for it

Bad service and food not up to standard. Waited ages to get seated, waiting for ordering. Only two members of staff visible. Ordered child's meal deal but when I went to order dessert I was told I would have to pay extra as I hadn't given the dessert order at first although I was not told this. Shame that the staff member was not flexible enough so won't be going again.
