Shocking service we were told there was a 30 minute wait for an evening meal when we arrived. We waited for 40 mins no meal, at that point the manager came over and said we were next so we waited. After 10 minutes watching others getting their meals that ordered after us we walked out. Don't know if they were having a bad night but we were not the only ones complaining about waiting times and orders coming out wrong. On an other occasion we was there for breakfast and it was amazing but missing black pudding

Lovely Brewers Fayre, clean and warm. Food is plentiful and a reasonable price, I had the gammon from the lunch menu. Staff were helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my lunch time stop here.

Staff need retraining on customer service skills. Food was ok. Staff made the experience horrid. Breakfast staff are worse than night time staff.

During our recent visit in the adjacent Premier Inn, we chose to dine here on the evening of our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we both enjoyed our evening meals, the house red wine (Spanish) was very enjoyable and easy to drink!

While staying at the Premier inn, we went to the Brewers Fayre restaurant at 10.50 hours for breakfast on Sunday morning. Breakfast is advertised as served up to 11am. There were no cups available or bread which we had to ask for. When I chose my food of which there was limited availability, we felt hurried and not made to feel welcome, we paid the same as other guests. Very disappointed with the service

Inexperienced staff. Twice refused discount codes. No customer service. Young staff on the till that don't know what they are doing. Charge you for Stella then tell you they don't have it then charge you extra for thier mistake. Very poor management.

We booked a table for 6, we went to order & out of the six meals we ordered 4 were unavailable, we ordered other options & half of the order would have been missing, so unfortunately we left. Our booking was for 19.00 so not late. First time I've been so not a good experience.

Having used Brewers Fayre all over the UK, this was by far the most measly portions...9 pieces of scampi 11 chips...a 3 inch round pie with 11 chips...total bill £24. We know you need to make a profit but even a mouse would have complained about the portions....Will definitely not use Brewer's Fayre in the future after this.

Excellent customer services from all the staff especially manager on shift Stuart who was very friendly and catered to our needs in a very professional manner.my go to spot from now on great food and great staff!

Always a pleasure to pop in and eat here as “Tom” and all the staff from team leaders down to counter staff and waiters/waitresses are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble to them. Food and drinks are all sensibly priced. Recommend

Been coming here for years now with my family. Has always been a great place for food and drinks. Service is always with a smile, we tend to know a few of the staff by name these days too! Always very accommodating, we’ve sampled a few dishes from the menu here and these but we prefer the value meals. Breakfasts are lovely too. Tom and Karen run a great restaurant, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and always have a good crack with the team members we know. The play area primarily ran by Pam , whos always smiling, we’ve always found great, unfortunately our children are too old for it now, Can’t ask for anything better, never had any problems at all, if we did, we know we can see Tom and the team and the feedback would be sorted out and taken on board as they are all very approachable.

Came for carvery and to let the kids play in soft play. Carvery was lovely. Everything. Was hot and was served by a lovely team member. The people in the play area were soo good with the kids they enjoyed there would highly recommend to anyone with young kids and good meal

Nice place to stop for lunch while near the lakes, right next to the M6 as well for access.

A group of us came here for drinks and a get-together. We sat with the pepper who were eating as there was no room in the bar area. The last orders were called at 9.45pm.

A last minute meet up with the bestie. We chose this location as it's conveniently situated for both of us. We booked a table to make sure we could enjoy a bite to eat as well as a long overdue natter. The menu is reasonably priced with a good range to choose from. We opted for the lasagne and posh pop. We ended up at the bar to the front after our meal whilst staff made up the tables for breakfast. The facilities were clean, and posters still reminded everyone of the risks of transmitting covid. There's a car park, outdoor seating and a children's playground. It's also on a bus route with a stop outside on the Warwick Road side. Just a mile off the M6, so good for meeting up without being in the city.

Good service food was nice. Was starting to get busy as we went around 5.30pm.

Great food and friendly service

Purchased a 'Meal Deal' with the adjoining Premier Inn. Big mistake! After over an hours wait, two choices of main meal not available, third was served cold. Returned and replaced by a slightly warmer version, but the chicken was tough and inedible. Attempted to politely complain, but no one was in the slight bit interested. Left and found a friendly pub 5 minutes walk away.

Couldn't fault the food reasonably priced and very filling, stayed in the premier inn attached so eat here 3 nights and had breakfast 2 mornings, the staff were very friendly and never stopped I would definitely return it's our 5th time staying and eating here and already looking forward to our return visit.

OK for families reasonably decent breakfast. Staff are the best thing about this place

A lovely visit as always, Pam served us and was very good in serving and helping us. The food was nice, especially the pizzas. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend.

First time here,just passing through on our travels..lovely staff and atmosphere..but a bit of a wait for food and my salad with chicken was tiny and put in a large deep plate,which made it look even smaller,not the usual generous portions brewers fayer usually serve..apart from that a lovely place and staff.

Stayed at the premier inn for nearly 3 weeks on business. I ate in the restaurant every evening. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to help. Tom,Debbie,Karen, and Stuart, just to name a few. Thank you for making my stay welcoming and friendly.

A big thank you to the young lady in charge of the children's soft play today. My kid was bullied by two boys. I reported the incident and she immediately intervened. Whoever you are, you are very much appreciated.

Mixed Grill was lovely and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious and it was really good that we could get a table at such short notice THANKYOU we will definitely be back.😊

There is someone who is meant to greet you and find someone to escort you to an available table at peak meal times, but it wasn't obvious who they were so it was a bit jarring. The pub has a big play area, so it's very popular with families, which meant it was a bit messy and chaotic in the area where they sat us. Service was a little slow, and despite being escorted to a table, it all felt very much like busy bar staff than trained waiters and waitresses. The food was fine, kind of what you expect...nothing fancy, burger and fries and all the other pub usuals.

- Food was mid, gamon was a bit of a waste because of all the fat on it, tikka hardly had any chicken in it, asked for fish, said there was none but then saw another person get served fish, knife was dirty. + staff were friendly, puddings were great, nice drinks and lots of options on menu

Food was over priced, presentation wasn’t good, value of food was terrible. No customer service didn’t check how food was after serving won’t eat out of here again.

I shouldn't be surprised as it's a chain but this is god awful. Had a chicken curry and it was quite literally a supermarket microwave ready meal, complete with mini microwaved naan bread and microwaved poppadom which had the texture of melted plastic. I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if the burgers were actually just Rustlers with 500% markup on. The staff collected my plate which was basically untouched yet didn't say a word, didn't ask why I didn't eat it. We went to take advantage of a 30% off voucher but honestly, given the quality of food and service, we definitely overpaid.

Its been quite some time since we visited the Lakeland Gate and we were taken back by the quality of the food and the service that we received on this visit. We will definitely go back in the near future as everything was perfect. Many thanks to management and staff for taking care of us.

Twice in 3 days. Lovely food off the menu on Friday and back for the excellent carvery on Sunday. Service very good both times.

Family friendly. We went on a Sunday teatime and the place was very busy. The meat was tender and even the fussy eater children that were with us ate everything. Staff very friendly

Stayed the night at the attached Premier Inn so booked the meal deal. I paid the small supplement for the mixed grill which was excellent although my fried eggs were well done, I like mine runny and that's the only reason I'm knocking off a star. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

2 for 1 meals between 5 and 6 pm £11.95 good value for money.

It is very disrespectful to start clearing plates from a table when people are still eating .It spoilt what was a lovely meal

Nice atmosphere, not too expensive and the staff can't do enough for you. In particular, Paul is a stand-up bloke and seems to build an instant rapport with customers. My daughter and I are regulars here, in large part thanks to Paul and the rest.

Had fish and chips with mushy peas, but from the cheaper section, thought it would be a smaller portion of Haddock, but it wasn't it could have been pollock. I didn't enjoy it

Demi is really friendly and approachable in the soft play. Really good with the kids and very attentive.

Favourite place to take my daughter she can play the staff are wonderful with her and us, very friendly staff member Debbie is so helpful the food is lovely, also the prices aren’t bad either totally recommend

Table of 8 went for tea last night after the football match. Great service and staff. Tom is lovely and welcoming and so is gis team. We eat here often is very reasonable priced, the food is good pub grub. Play area is clean and the staff in their are also friendly. Always enjoy our visits here. Thanks to Tom and his team see you all soon.

The quality of the food remains satisfactory, however, there appears to be some challenges with staffing levels recently. This has resulted in slower service and insufficient bar staff on match days, particularly before and after the events.

Called in here on our way up to Scotland food lovely value very good service very good. Lady who bought the food to the table very friendly would highly recommend this place on my visit today.

I took my 3 year old today with my mum. The girl who was working in the soft play was absolutely amazing, she was so kind and patient. Nothing was to much trouble for her. I don’t know her name, but she is a credit to the company.

Decent enough place though let down by the kiddies soft play area, after a full days travelling you just want to get something to eat, a drink and relax which is hard to do with screaming kids running around, I had the Big stack burger which was probably the best burger I have ever eaten, also had breakfast the next morning which was more than good enough.

It's first time I've been here and it was clean and tidy plus the staff were very pleasant and didn't have to wait long on food we picked what we wanted as its table service plus you could get as much as you wanted for £10 ,starters,Cereals and any amount of bacon ,sausages , egg's whatever you have for breakfast..it was great I'll be going again

Old battle axe behind the bar ( Old dead short hair glasses) has no customer service skills, ignores you serves people who just walked in despite the fact your standing there right in front of her paid up basically got my change thrown at me she seemed oblivious to everything..I'd put it down to her having a bad day but it's happened on a few separate visits..food probably fair for the price..although prices are going up food quality ain't..they charge for the kids indoor play, it used to be free it also closes at 7pm despite the pub being open so look out, of your kids go in the indoor play at say 18:30 they won't say anything, charge you full price roughly £3.50 per kid then it's kick out time at 19:00

The meal was a good amount, I'm not a fan of peas being separated from the main meal, it seems to be a thing in many eateries. On the whole , all good. The waitress was polite and helpful.

Staff great always considerate about a wheelchair user. Foid great quality either cooked to order or well stocked buffet. Great value for money. Nothing is ever too much trouble no matter how busy they are. This is our new half way stop for a rest and food in our trips to visit family .

Burger not properly cooked, caused food poisoning after 2 hours. Customer service over telephone poor. Refused to accept responsibility for their own cooking. Management were uncaring and arrogant.

Party of 7 ordered from Christmas menu 3 coursed starters were prawn cocktail, pate and filled yourshire. Mains were Turkey dinners and sweets Perfiterols, sherry trifle. I can honestly say no one had any complaints. Very large portions, very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money with very good service. Would def recommend the Christmas menu

1st time at a Brewers Fayre and the food was lovely, I sampled some of the new Christmas based meals which included some Christmas pudding. I will definitely be trying out my local Brewers Fayre and hope the cooking is just as good.
