Rude staff! Except for 1 or 2. Just seem in a bad mood all the time! Not nice!

Worse cup of tea I've ever had in a Costa, including abroad... tasted nothing like tea Staff member pushed me to one side when I was looking at choice of sandwich etc to fill up. No excuse me etc

This costa is in need of refurbishment, the chairs were badly stained and look disgusting, the tables are all worn and look unhygienic, for anyone visiting the white rose centre, I would advise using the costa in next 😬

Absolutely disgusting how I've been treated today 20th Feb at 10.35 am. I asked for a strawberry milkshake and they just made me one. It was hot. I told her I got a cold one the other day she called me a liar. Why would I want a hot milkshake SERIOUSLY HAD TO WALK AWAY WITHOUT MY REFUND

My sausage sandwiche was missing!

Leaving 1 star. As i have nothing to review. Ordered food and drinks totally £30 and got 2 lattes for my brunch instead. Clearly someone is enjoying my brunch and drinks instead. It is obviously the wrong order. One would think these things are easy to correct and sort out. But apparently not, the phone number for Costa on google doesn’t work. And i can only submit for a refund. Would have just preferred my food tbh. So all in all 👎🏼 for it all!

I am appalled at the service when me and my friend when to by something we were met with a rude attitude and we didn’t feel welcomed when walking in the establishment my friend bought a rocky road which we shared this was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted I don’t think that rocky road is difficult to make but apparently it is as it was horrible the texture and the taste was not appealing we also had there season specially Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate not only is it a mouthful to say it is also the most underwhelming thing I’ve ever drank there was no taste to it and it was lukewarm who wants a like warm hat chocolate I’m disappointed and unhappy with the service.The only thing reasonable was that we got a Terry's chocolate slice. Won’t be coming here again and won’t be recommending to anybody . !!

This Costa outket is within 150 metres of busy Carlisle railway station. On a Saturday afternoon at 1330 hours, there were at least three staff but only two looked to be serving. I was in a hurry but service was slow. The Southern fried chicken wrap was thankfully good value at GBP3.95.

Ordered an Iced Mocha. It was mostly ice ! Would not recommend

5 staff behind counter, not a smile from any of them, what has happened to customer service?

After being a Costa Coffee user for so long I am now to part company after over hearing a 1-1 on cafe floor on 12th August at White Rose Upper floor shop, as how the Supervisor/Manager spoke to the colleague was disgusting, basically told her staff member very abruptly and rudly, with a threatening tone how she needed to improve or she's out the door, discipline is crucial but so to remaining professional and polite but still having the skill to get you points across, but I afraid this lady failed so much on all these in delivering this 1-1. Shocking to overhear, In addition the managet/Supervisor then proceeded to leave her laptop in full view of anyone in the coffee shop, I'm hoping there was nothing confidential on it and it remained safe after I left as had it disappeared no member of staff would of had a clue as the only people around was customers.

My daughter and I went out on a girls day to the White Rose shopping centre today to do some last minute holiday shopping. Eliza was excited for our day and had taken a considerable amount of time getting ready so that she looked perfect for the occasion. We nipped to costa on our way out of the centre and it was peak time so it was very busy. There were two ladies serving this afternoon, Caitlin and Kirsty. They both noticed Eliza straight away and took the time to make a fuss of her and compliment her outfit and her nails and her hair. She was absolutely chuffed and it absolutely made her day that her effort had been noticed. The ladies had such a long a queue and were clearly under pressure, yet still made a point of interacting with my daughter in between making our order. So, if you happened to see a very happy 7 year old strutting out of white rose today, that sass and self confidence was thanks to the lovely ladies at Costa! Thank you for the beautiful customer service x

3 Costa coffee shops in here, one in next, one adjacent M&S ground floor and one on the first floor within the food hall. This review is related to the one in the food hall. Nice friendly staff, a great cortado coffee ☕ and a muffin 🧁 Dining area was clean and tidy. Public toilets 🚻 nearby - free to enter and very clean. Thanks 👍🤩☕💪

Very kind customer service. Coffee delicious. Unfortunately there was very dirty tables (we have to clean it by ourselfs). Also we can't order coffee in a cup (dishwasher was out of use), only "take away".

Costa within the NEXT at White Rose Centre. Friendly staff, good coffee and cakes. Can get busy on the weekend, but a much nicer location than the other two Costas in the centre.

The staff are friendly even when, like today, the coffee is really busy. Costa have just done a refurbish of all the seating with more comfy chairs and couches. The coffee is always great and they have just brought my fave Brie and bacon panini back so I’m a happy man.

All 3 staff I saw were really friendly and polite. The cafe and tables were clean and the food and drink was lovely 😊.

Quick to take the orders but unfortunately not very good at fulfilling them. I asked for a mocha with whipped cream. Turned up as a latte and no whipped cream. Asked for another and turned up with cream but with barely any chocolate

I think the driver was taken to the next industrial estate on the road, but it arrived safely so all good. I rated food as it would allow me to submit without rating, but we didn't have food

Shocking visit to the Costa at Square in Carlisle near the railway station. The soya milk tastes like liquid cornflour. Horrible stuff. Then I tried the oat milk but it was just as shocking and the barista clearly only put in one scoop of coffee instead of two. The staff refused to give me my birthday treat because there was an expiry date on it. My birthday was on 22nd and I visited on the 28th. I actually kept my treat for my trip from Glasgow to Carlisle. Very small print of exp date!!! So I lost £3.85 while I was expecting a treat. I complained to Costa but in more than a week nobody has made an effort to reply to me.

Waited over an hour after the estimated delivery time & all food arrived stone cold.

Visited for some me time and a little treat, was nice, cake was a bit dry and icing very sweet but still good, will go back.

Seems to be closed half the time these days. Think the staff can't be bothered and just clock off early most days. The one in Next is a lot better.

Good coffee, good fast service, pleasant atmosphere and Covid aware. This was a nice coffee shop to take a break.

Right next to the train station this is a really busy Costa. Consistently good coffee in all their cafes and a nice selection of cakes and pastries.

While I do not think they make the best coffee in UK as it is usually very weak the coffee here is at least reliable. Pleasant enough atmosphere for a chain and food is ok but a little bland eg mac cheese really needs sauce for flavour.

Absolutely best costa I’ve ever been to. Always piping hot and tastes lovely! Really friend and VERY fast staff! I’ll go out of my way to go to this one rather than the one in town centre.

There are Costas and Costas- this is a good one. Lovely location, light and spacious which is a fault with many Costas- and even though we visited at a quiet time the service was faultless. The cafe was clean and cared for. Thank you.

Best Costa coffee in Carlisle. All Costa in the city are good... but staff in here are excellent ...so friendly.
