BBQ Village offers delicious food and quick service. We ordered the mixed grill for two, and everything was cooked to perfection. The kebabs were incredibly tasty, and the lamb chops were tender and juicy. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful grilled meats!
Yet again we have had an exceptional evening at THE Rockwood.
Ambiance, artistry, attention to detail, authenticity and astounding.
This place is a pinnacle of independent restaurants. So so so much more than a Bistro.
It is unique experience and is the sum of many parts.
It's a privilege to spend the Eve there for so many reasons.
Seriously must be one of the top restaurants on the Wirral and competes at the highest of levels with others across the water.
It's a genuine product of hard work, creativity and tender love and care from both Chris and Pauline over an extended period of their lives.
I haven't even talked of food and wine. It's spectacular in a sublime setting. Tucked away. It's like Narnia of dining .........one you go through those huge doors........
Updated review Aug 2024 going down hill fast , asked for a bacon Sandwich a cafe basic and was told the chef has not turned up ! I donβt think this establishment will be open for too long β¦. nearly perfect.... Lovely staff, great menu and an extensive revamp should make this cafe a please to visit. But lack of wi-fi is a deal breaker, for those who want to use the location to work of study.
Great little bar. Very atmospheric and quirky. Live bands. Coffee is really good as are the brownies. Very friendly and obliging staff. I would highly recommend.
Whether itβs brunch with the family or solo for a sausage n egg, The CowShed never fails. Warm welcome, lovely room and space and always positively engaging.
Nice place to visit for a selection of pizza pasta plated steaks and chicken dishes good value on Sundays when they do a 2 course for Β£24 or 3 courses for Β£30 good choices on the menu to choose from the place is small and well presented it was quiet cold as we were near the door so best to sit on the right wall to protect from this as the door was open a lot of the time but we had a lovely meal and would recommend a visit best to reserve a table as it does get busy.
Staff are helpful and friendly and the food we had was cooked and presented beautifully.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The drinks are good, the prices are fair, the seating is comfortable, the service is friendly. This is on my must-come-again list for when I return to Manchester. I'd recommend the scratchings as well. They're lovely and crunchy but don't fight you either like some other scratchings do.
The Wellington Inn and Caravan Park..
Is such a quaint and cosy Inn..friendly staff. Delicious food..
The Seasonal Pie was something else, home made and perfect . The Wellington Burger was superb too .and the puddings ..home made. The jam roly poly was absolutely delicious as was the banana split..and not overly priced either.
They sell hand pulled Bitter and a good selection of Gins and other Spirits.
The Caravan Park.very quiet. beautifully maintained .
