The best restaurants in North West

Called in at VIA Manchester and another bar (as VIA was last orders at 1AM. lol, right?). Will try to add it later if I can remember the name! Made some friends at both ... After all, this is Canal Street ...

This place is phenomenal. Genuinely. I’ve been brought up in chippies by the coast in Ireland and moved over this way for work. I’ve not tried a chicken burger (freshly battered and fresh salad in a bakery bun) like this outside of a burger bar. It’s absolutely insane. The chips and fish are genuine top quality. Incredible food. Really reasonable prices. I’ll be back for sure 10/10. A few years later. Back again. Same order. 10/10. Chicken went into the batter fresh and the the chips were almost gold white and crisp coming out. Honestly the best fish and chips in the area

Lovely place Rooms spotless had iron and hairdryer too Lovely big shower The food was lovely and had gluten free. Breakfast was lovely and the chef very friendly We will go back and do the walk round there.

Good food but after ordering at 5pm for collection at 7pm we had to wait until 8pm was just about to demand a refund when it arrived with no apology from staff we weren’t the only people waiting at least 8 waiting and nobody got an apology all were late by at least 45mins to a hour WILL NOT USE AGAIN

The pizza here is sooo good and better than many I've tried in Italy. So lucky to have a place like this Cheadle. Always super fresh. and very reasonable prices. 👍👍

The Yan recently hosted us for a photoshoot for Go Outdoors, the team were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and patient with us with all our crew and vehicles. The setting of The Yan is stunning, you feel immersed in nature, but also close to Grasmere and Ambleside for exploring. The catering which the team provided was wonderful also. Thank you so much to the team at The Yan.

the Cajun rice had no taste I did not eat it, the bun on my burger was wet and sloppy had to throw bun in the bin and the chips was tasteless and expensive not worth the money .

Food is amazing, the chef is a gentleman, best in cheadle by far

Mi familia y amigos han comido muchas veces en este fantástico restaurante y nunca tuvieron ningún motivo para quejarse. La comida es de muy buena calidad , el punto de precio es spot on y el servicio siempre es bueno. Bien vale la pena una visita si estás en la zona.

Lovely little restaurant with a super friendly team. My burger was exceptional, the coleslaw was delicious and the fries were cooked to perfection. I will keep coming back!
