Wood Oven Pizza Neopolitan pizza in Stockport

I have been visiting this place for years. The couple that run it are so passionate about their food, everything is fresh and home made. You won’t find a better pizza anywhere and they do amazing lunch deals and sandwiches too, along with fresh coffee. Such a credit to Cheadle Village, would highly recommend.

The pizza here is incredible. The dough and ingredients are so fresh. We are regulars and get takeout weekly. The service is super friendly and prices are very reasonable. You must try Wood Oven Pizza Cheadle, you won’t regret it! Highly recommend ++++

Pizza was very nice but for second time ina row I was given gone off mozzarella in a tub to be chopped up on a pizza. First time I gave them the benefit of the doubt but it happened again so I felt the need to leave a review as feedback for the shop owner.

For me, it's the best pizza in Manchester. Owners are brilliant, family run so the consistency is there. The cheese garlic dough balls are outrageous, gotta try them. My kids will not eat any other pizza now. And my girl - who doesn't like pizza - demolishes their garlic bread.

Another one of those "been meaning to try for ages" places. Definitely did not disappoint. Called in Friday night for a everything-you-need, nothing-you-don't margarita. Superb! Amazing dough and crust. Lovely chap behind the counter too. Will be back!

I used to get the pizzas from Dominos or Papa Johns but after I discovered this pizza is the one and only, is all about the dough and good ingredients, and having cannoli for dessert is the cherry on top. I would recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful food, authentically made and tasted wonderful. If I lived in the area I would be a regular. Unfortunately for me I was just staying at Manchester Airport and discovered this little gem when I got hungry, I wish we had this place in Scarborough instead of the multiple places with pre-made bases and poor ingredients. Couldn't fault these guys at all, and really friendly when I went to collect as well.

This place is a hidden gem in Cheadle village. I've been here a couple times now and there are only positives I can tell you about this place: - The pizza dough they use is amazing and soft. You won't be leaving any crusts here! - The cheese garlic dough balls are so good and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. These aren't like the small dough balls you get at pizza express etc. These are going to be the best you've ever had. Trust me! - The place is owned and run by a gentleman and his wife who are really pleasant to talk to and very passionate about the pizza they make. That's reflected in the quality of their pizza. - Their chicken is halal!

The staff were very friendly and talkative and the crust and the pizza was mouth watering. Everything there was 5 stars from the food to the staff. The cheese looked like the cheese in a pizza in italy. Personally I would recommend anyone especially living in cheadle hulme to go and try the food there as mark my words you'll love it and want to go again and as well as that the bill came in good price.

Only pizza you should eat in Cheadle. Amazing flavour, fresh cooked with love and care. The owners were friendly, happy and courteous. If you have not tried you must do so and if you have been go again. Brilliant pizza.

It's the only place I will go to for my takeaway pizza. There is no comparison in terms of quality and freshness of ingredients, especially when compared to chain brand pizza. The base is divine, and the tomato sauce is incredible. I have also sat in for a lunch special pizza sandwich which was fab. Lovely owners with great customer service. I highly recommend 👌

I've visited this pizza outlet several times over the years; back from when it first established during COVID up to now and every time I've been here, the service has been stellar. The Neapolitan-style pizza is unmatched and the owners are so welcoming and down to earth. The owners and are lovely and they make great pizza. Cheaper than the chain brands and at least 5x times as good. Recommendations are the cheesy garlic focaccia, the nduja & pepperoni pizza & meat calzone. You can't really go wrong though, everything is cooked in a wood fired oven (as the name suggests) and it's gives it a wonderful char & smokiness.

Called in for a bite to eat yesterday, the pizza was absolutely amazing, having worked in Italy I can honestly say that it was totally on par, traditionally cooked to perfection. Forget about all the other fast food outlets in Cheadle, if you want good quality food prepared by friendly and welcoming people you couldn’t do better than this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Top quality food, service and price

I've been visiting with my young family for some years now. Friendly couple running the business. They make tasty pizza, which after a trip to Naples we believe is tastier than what we had away. The owner also kindly opened his shop 2.5 hours early at the sight of my 4 year old daughter bursting into tears when we turned up to buy pizza before the shop had opened. We love this place and highly recommend it.

Pizza night for the girls - delicious stone baked pizzas great value for money - issue over payment but they have confirmed this will be sorted - will order again for certain.

Lovely hidden gem place. The owners are super friendly and very tasty, authentic pizzas! Apart from pizza, I strongly recommend the aubergine parmigiana. Important: either order online and pay, then go and collect or eat your order inside the shop. Or bring cash and order and pay when you get there - they don’t take card inside the shop!

Very stingy with their toppings. Half of it is just pure tomato bread and the crust is way too big, making up nearly half of the surface area. Wood fire smoke in Handforth are way more generous with their toppings and have a smaller crust.

This pizza is incredible! I've been here many time since moving to Cheadle and every time the quality and taste is of such a high standard. After living in the city centre for so long I thought I had tasted good pizza, but the city pizza is nothing compared to this! The owners are so lovely and kind and definitely know how to make a special pizza. Strongly recommend this place. The cortadina with a side of dough balls is my favourite!

Literally the best pizza in Gtr Manchester easily… The owners are lovely once you get to know them and they have some great offers on over lunchtime but overall it’s really good value for money. I cannot understand why anybody would leave a negative review on this place, I’ve had it multiple times and can’t fault it. Huge thumbs up from me!

Recently went to this place and thought it looked amazing, however the pizza was just drowned in oil and grease I couldn’t finish it all Furthermore i tried the desert which tasted out of date had to bin the rest. Big no from me!!

What a fantastic take away place this is. Simply the best pizza I have had in the UK. I have been 3 times in the last 5 or 6 weeks, visiting from USA. This place is 100% the place to go for a quick inexpensive enjoyable take away true Neopolitan pizza, with fresh tasty toppings and more. It takes about 5 minutes to get a pizza, after it is ordered. You see your pizza being made/assembled. Then you can watch it go into their pizza oven and see it being placed in the pizza box. If you live in the area or are visiting, and you want a quick takeaway, not an expensive restaurant dinner, this should be your number one place to go!
