I had an amazing experience at the chocolate store in Wyckoff! I stopped by without any expectations, simply asking if they had a chocolate car, which wasn’t available on the shelf. To my surprise, the owner went above and beyond and had my custom order ready in less than two hours! It was exactly how I envisioned it, and the attention to detail was impressive. The chocolate itself was delicious and beautifully crafted. I’m so grateful for their exceptional service and creativity. This place is a hidden gem for chocolate lovers! Highly recommend it—definitely deserving of five stars! 🌟

Overpriced and very average customer service. The food was okay but £20 for 10 pieces of sushi is really quite pricey and you can’t mix & match either. The service wasn’t great, my food came about 10 minutes before my friends and when we asked where it was she explained it had to be fried but gave no apology for the delay. The sushi itself was nice, the togarashi fries were very disappointing. Overall it was ok, I wouldn’t return as I think it’s very overpriced for what it is and I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.

Had a meal on the day of new menu-disappointed that there was no choice for plain food except fish and chips!-no Scampi-no Chicken-please relook at this for plain eaters! Beef was tough in parts and the new potatoes with the fish were hard and bland! The duck was amazing as was the Eton Mess-so please please look at putting chicken on your menu -also have a mains salmon that’s not smoked!-on the whole lovely food as always-just needs a few tweeks!

Another visit to our favourite restaurant, this time on a Saturday night. I'm glad I booked the restaurant was very busy, lots of couples and a 60th Birthday in full swing, the service was spot on as always, attentive and friendly. Starters we had... Garlic and tomato pizza for me, the wife had salmon and prawn which was a large portion and was very tasty. What I did like was they now have the option to get a half portion of the main pasta dishes, she chose lasagne, she never finishes a full portion. An excellent idea 🤌 I had Penne Fabellos which was delicious along with parmesan fries. No room again for dessert 😋

Had an excellent meal at the Lowther Arms, Fish & hips were fab. Very fresh fish and crispy batter (gluten free too!). Regular Fish & Chips was a big portion too, not left hungry, that's for sure. Prices were good and the staff were friendly and attentive - I recommend having a meal or two here if you are in the area.

Visited here during Easter half term as a family of 4 (1 menber being GF). Not advertised as GF however nearly the whole menu was available as a GF sandwich/salad. My partner had the breakfast roll - everything was fresh and delicious and cooked to order. Our 2 children had pastries (steak pie and sausage roll) which both were delicious and hot with puff pastry. And they made a GF club sandwich which was delicious and a lovely change to what's normally on offer. Delicious food all round! Reasonably priced, very knowledgeable staff around GF and a MUST visit!

Me and my partner went for the first time yesterday and as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by David who we now know runs the restaurant with his wife and a team great staff. The food was delicious and freshly made. It was relaxing and spotless and anyone who likes good home cooking at a reasonable price won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back. Darwen's best kept secret.
