The best restaurants in Ulgham Northumberland North East

First visit here and very impressed. Extremely good value for money considering the quality of the food. A similar meal at a cafe last week cost over 50% more but was nowhere near as tasty as your food.

Well whar an amazing find we were camping up the road popped in and wow what a lovely welcome from land lady very welcoming I love real ale was offered sample before buying other customers very chatty to a paopper English pub definitely will be back

I ordered the beef chilli nachos for around £5 - it was served in a little box which was filled with nachos smothered in lovely salsa, chilli and guacamole. It was lovely, too much for me to finish off...so i took the rest home for later. and the moretti is only £3.50 so what's not to like

A group of 12 cyclists stopped for lunch and the service and hospitality was exemplary. They managed to cater for all our orders so that we were served and ate at the same time. Excellent value for money.

We visited tonight. Great service. They were pretty busy but were always helpful, friendly and quick, I had Garlic Mushrooms starter which was lovely then a Rump Steak. Beautiful. My wife’s Halibut was excellent. Sticky Toffee Pudding and Crème Brûlée as pudds. What’s even more impressive is the range of Gluten Free food. I have nothing but praise for The Widdrington Inn.

Apparently under new ownership / management.. very well stocked garden centre... And all plants ☘️ looking very healthy..However, no discount for blue light card holder's, even when spending a significant amount of money.... 🤔

Really bad service in the restaurant. Poor flustered woman behind the till nearly didn't get my order correct. She had a queue right up to the restaurant entrance. Drinks came after 10 minutes, no sign of my prawn salad. The server just plonked them & walked quickly away. Husband chased after her & asked where the prawn salad was. She said there was a half an hour wait on food. For a prawn salad? Really? Pity they didn't tell you that at till, I wouldn't have bothered. Also when it id come there was no lemon as per illustration on menu no peppers & no bloomer.
