The best restaurants in Ulgham Northumberland North East

First visit here and very impressed. Extremely good value for money considering the quality of the food. A similar meal at a cafe last week cost over 50% more but was nowhere near as tasty as your food.

Only stayed briefly to ask if they were still serving food. Barman was very helpful, telling me they stopped serving food last October (2023). Google entry states they still serve and all the signs outside say they serve food. Take them down so that us hungry travellers don't go out of our way to find you. I have visited this pub for many years and now find that the meals and staff are hit and miss. My wife used to love the homemade pie and now that is non-existent. Such a lovely pub that should be packed to the brim but have noticed over the last year the car park is never full like previously.

I ordered the beef chilli nachos for around £5 - it was served in a little box which was filled with nachos smothered in lovely salsa, chilli and guacamole. It was lovely, too much for me to finish off...so i took the rest home for later. and the moretti is only £3.50 so what's not to like

We decided to go here for a meal with family and friends to celebrate my mother’s birthday and so pleased we did!! The food and service were exceptional. The staff (Alex and Chloe) were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make her day special. Would like to send a big thank you to both of them for their efforts. There aren’t many places where you receive service like that these days. The food was delicious and plenty of it. It’s a hidden gem. Would 100% definitely recommend

Thete for 9am, bteakgadt looked like it had been sitting hours, tasteless and only Luke warm. Mentioned to staff and was informed it had been sitting on hot plate and walked away. Very poor food for the time in morning and poor service.
