Horrendous. Whole bare smelled like quavers, couldn’t see a packet of crisps anywhere. Pints tasted like the lines haven’t been done since 1912 and i’m 99% sure the glass it was served in was actually from 1912. Couldn’t pay me to drink here again

Excellent food and very courteous service. The room was a little cold, but I dropped in just after opening so it was just warming up. The prawn on puree was a perfect blend of savoury bread with sweet and juicy prawn bhuna with a subtle level of spice. For my main dish I ordered the chicken tikka karahi and a garlic naan. This is the best naan and curry I have had in a long time. Naan crispy in places where it has got nicely scorched, and fluffy and savoury with garlic all over. The karahi had succulent cuts of chicken and a mouthwatering spicy sauce with lots of onion and green pepper. To my regret I had to leave just a little bit of sauce because I had gotten full but if I could have I'd have requested a small roti to mop up the rest of the karahi pan to a polished finish! Superb. The price was very fair too and the Cobra beer went very well with my food.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in the area, and maybe that I have ever had. Every single order has been a bit, never a miss. When you call it can be hard to get through, especially on a weekend but stick with it and keep hitting redail it's worth it! Staff are very friendly, accommodating any requests, no this, no that, add this etc. Food is unbeatable. I go once or twice a week and never get bored of it. salt and chilli pepper stuff is on the spicier side which is perfect for me. Noodles never soggy always full of flavour and it's amazing to say but so many Chinese takeaway get fried rice wrong but the fried rice here is addictive!! Would never go anywhere else.

This cafe is a very popular one in the Blagdon estate shopping area called milkhope, it’s a lovely cafe with plenty space, on busy days (pretty much every day) you may have to wait for a table the line does go down fast, & it is worth waiting for. The food is homemade and perfect for lunch. They also sell some locally made produce. I recommend their chocolate cake. But everything they do here is lovely. The staff are extremely friendly.

We booked in for a Christmas meal for the Bay Horse in Cramlington fairly last minute. The staff were superb, accommodating and lovely - no complaints. I get the impression all of them couldn't do more for their customers. However, the actual food on Christmas Day itself was bland. I appreciate a lot of food is pre-prepares but in this instance, it just tasted and looked like something we could have bought at Iceland ourselves. There wasn't any pizazz to the food at all, which is disappointing for Christmas prices. However nothing about the food was bad! Indeed they didn't do anything wrong at all - like I said, the customer service was excellent, and the facilities were OK, but as there wasn't anything to the food, especially on an expensive Christmas Day, I can't say it was above average either. I'd like to go back when it's not Christmas and give them a try as I have a feeling they'd be better on a normal week-night!
