Very disappointed. Ordered a munchie/pizza box. It was basically a box of chips. Very little of anything else. Had to pay extra for rice and noodles too so they weren’t even included in the price. Won’t be ordering from New Horizon again

Ordered curry, chips and rice and an additional beef chow mein. Rice was super dark in colour and curry tasted weird. Beef chow mein was mainly bean sprouts, beef tasted burned and left us with an ash taste afterwards. Missed prawn crackers off the delivery as well. Delivery women was very polite and very nice for order being slightly late

Worst take away I have had, the duck was cremated and stale Infact never seen nothing like it. The whole meal it’s self was disgusting.

Ordered chicken chowmein and a meat curry. Absolutely disgusting ! Food tasted burnt and the chowmein had hardly any chicken and the pieces it did have were the size of a thumb nail. As for the meat curry I'm still looking for the meat.

Unbelievable food, fast service. Prawn crackers were accidentally missed but phoned shop and they had them to us within 5 minutes. Easy 5*!!

Restaurant apologised for the delay, due to sauce leaking in the bag. And that's fair enough. But this is one of my favourite takeaways and the food just wasn't up to usual standards tonight, despite being entirely prepared again - not sure if this resulted in it being rushed. But three meals, each "ok" at best. Hopefully just an off night for this normally very reliable restaurant.

The food from this Chinese is top tier although it seems there delivery is shocking on a Tuesday night every other night is fine but they always have problems with a Tuesday but all in all this is one of the best Chinese around the area

Only hit one star as this was the only option available. I have lived in Dudley Cramlington for 8 years always used new horizon takeaway. until recently, they’ve been taken over. Ordered a meal on Sunday evening to find that the chicken was undercooked/frozen in the middle. Rang the new owner to be told that I could have a refund. When I got there I was told that I couldn’t have my money back as the food had been partially eaten. The manager was then rude and aggressive and started arguing with me in the shop. Will never use this takeaway again as me any my young daughter have been poorly for days since. Stay away!!!!!! Now let’s wait for the rude response as that seems to be how they go about such reviews.

Food is nasty, unfresh and bland, noodles are gritty and tough. Yet this is still the best part about this place. The owners are rude and ignorant who refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and makes the customer feel small and unappreciated. Most unwelcoming place I’ve been, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Worst Chinese I have bought in my life ordered crispy mixed meat there was one little bit of chicken in it the rest was massive bits of onion green pepper and about 8 prawns disgusting experience I called the takeaway and they were no help

Had a lovely meal delivered for myself and my son. He said it was the best chicken fried rice ever! Will certainly order again.

A lovely carrier dropped off my meal. She was very cheerful and polite. My meal was hot and very tasty. The prawns in batter were gorgeous. The chicken chowmain had plenty chicken and the noodle and vegetables were crunchy and fresh. Highly recommend 👌

Ordered tonight and despite it being over an hour I couldn't have cared less. The battered chicken and battered prawns were hot and delicious with the sweet and sour sauce, chips and rice were hot and delivery driver tried to explain but the weather will obviously make anyone a bit later but the food was excellent. Edit delivery driver she was amazing and the interaction on the phone was very good couldn't ask for better service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Chicken was undercooked and chewy, the prawns in batter were soggy and slimy, the noodles were burnt which you could smell before eating, the sauce was watery and tasted of nothing. Rang to let them know and they said they couldn’t refund it but they’ll come collect it back. Lady turned up and stood for 5 minutes arguing at my door said I should have asked my order to be dry and overcooked. So rude. Delivery driver was nice biggest east of £30

Noodles burnt! Hardly any chicken! For the price of it you would expect more chicken and not have to pay extra for rice and noodles!! And to be burnt!! Wasn’t nice

Never used this takeaway before. Many good reviews so we gave it a try and it did not disappoint. Reasonable prices, reliable delivery, food was great and special instructions followed. Delivery driver was pleasant and gave me a call when arriving at hotel reception as requested. Thanks!

Had to reheat food. As was cold the gravy was very thick when taking from cartin yo could plaster with ut and it would stay up for you. The omelette used to be good but didn't appear to be so good last night

The rice was almost inedible, bland, hard crunchy and stuck together. The plum sauce on my beef was see through and also bland. It went in the bin. It’s a shame, really wanted to like this as the staff on the phone were really nice also the delivery driver.

Food was great but the prawn crackers were forgotten about ( not ideal when you pay near enough £3 for them when most Chinese takeaways do them free) and the spring rolls did not come with the amount in the portion that was advertised. Other than that was good 👍

The absolute most delicious noodles I’ve had in my entire life. A friend told me about this place and it was the most delectable meal I’ve had in as long as I can remember. Every single thing we order better than the last but what stood out the most was the noodle in chilli garlic sauce - wow that was stunning. I will definitely be dreaming of the noodle from here !!!!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING STAY WELL AWAY FROM HERE! We ordered last night, within 30 mins of eating VERY LITTLE we have been sick to the stomach, followed by being up all night and all day today with stomach cramps and more projectile vomiting! One of us being pregnant too!!!! We were recommended this place by a friend who is a regular customer here too! Don’t even deserve the 1 star rating to be quite honest, but was only way I could leave a review. Will be speaking to you’s at 5pm this evening as soon as shop opens. Also a complaint to trading standards.

Really disappointing. We used to eat from here regularly. We are here a few weeks ago and it wasn’t great but we put it down to bad day. We are again today and it was awful. We had chicken fried rice and egg fried rice. All of the rice was very sticky. The chicken fried rice had hardly any chicken at all. In the end none of us are even a quarter of our food before giving up. I’m not sure if it’s a change of owners/chef as the serving staff have all changed and they no longer accept card payments. Either way that is two bad meals in a row so we are unlikely to go back.

we ordered chilli salt & pepper chips and they arrived soggy, cold and had 0 flavour to them what so ever. Chilli salt & pepper beef which arrived again with no flavour and had barely any meat to it, also barely warm. The soft noodles again, cold. & there were more onions and bean sprouts than anything else. Massively gone down hill.

The food was nice and hot but sadly pretty bland. We also received the wrong chow mein, which wasn’t too much of an issue.
