No complaints. Food is nice, staff are nice. Have finally got a card machine so all good. Sometimes, the fish is a little bit over cooked for my taste so I just don't buy it anymore. Plenty of other things I do like and the kebabs are lush.

Food wasnt nice, low quality and fish was dried out. The garlic sauce that came with kebab was about a tablespoons worth.

This Chippy is under new owners and is massively better now. It is a family run business with mam doing the frying when I've been in. Everyone is very friendly. I'm being lazy this week, so I had a chicken Tikka wrap with salad last night and fish and chips tonight. Both were delicious! Everything is freshly prepared to order, so do expect a little wait (or ring in your order first). It is worth the wait! I much prefer this to food that has been kept in the warmer for hours. The portions are really generous, the chips are just right, and the fish is expertly battered. And the chicken Tikka is mouth watering - I was even allowed to try before I buy. I'm probably going to work my way through the menu. 😁 Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere near or passing through. A year later and I'm still going to this chippy every week because they've kept up their high standards and I've never been disappointed. The fish and chips are simply lush and the staff are lovely and friendly.

Awesome Fish & chips. Absolutely massive portions

I ordered for a 1950 collection and the food was ready at 2015. The fish was sitting for 25 mins and inedible as it was very very dry. The shop was apologetic about the wait, the chips were lovely as were the cod bites. They were just too busy!

Always ordered from here big orders when my kids are over waited 2 hours for delivery only when I rang and kicked off the food came hot so obviously just did it then they missed food off the order even though I paid £52 then I get told on the phone they didn’t know my order yet there delivering more food service has become appalling certainly will not be ordering again from this place

Disappointed with our fish, more batter than cod...

First time ordering from here and definitely won't be the last. everything was hot and fresh when delivered. The portions are huge. The fish had to be split into 3 pieces just to fit it on the plate. Lovely crispy batter on the fish sausage spam fritter and chop suey rolls. we'll definitely be making this our regular chippy. 10/10

haggis tasted of fish l got a tray of kabab meet and hardly got any meat IN TRAY considering it cost £6 NOT worth the money my partner got fish cake she said it was tasteless through it in bin I have ordered from here a couple of times before never had a problem until now ????

I am home from Germany visiting my parents & our regular chippy is closed at the moment for a refurb, so we decided to try Dhillons for a change. The guy serving was very friendly & welcoming. The shop is clean & bright. We ordered 2 Haddock & chips and 1 Cod & chips. The food was cooked fresh and we didn't have to wait long at all. We even got a free big bottle of Fanta with our order. The portions are massive! I don't think I've ever had a bigger portion of both fish and chips in my life. Both were cooked so well and were very tasty. My photo does not do the food justice at all. Top marks all around! I definitely believe you are the new regular chip shop for our family. Well done! :)

Absolutely amazing fish and chips and huge

I was passing by and, as my first time here, I have to say that their food is amazing, they are very helpful (they listen to all your needs). The staff is so kind and friendly, we even had a laugh together, such a beautiful experience. Definitely I’ll come back!😊

Current sauce has spilt all over the bag and absolutely everything was covered. What was savable was luke warm at best and tasted like it had been sat there for hours

World class fish and chips. It’s rare to find quality like this anymore. Portions are huge, fish and chips are wrapped separately (IYKYK). Proper chip shop chips, and the fish lightly battered to crispy perfection. It’s worth driving a little further for this place!

Everything was nice (cod bites, kebab butty and chicken tikka wrap)…… Except the chips. For a takeaway that’s primarily a chippy to send out chips that weren’t fully cooked was disappointing

Massive portions and delicuoius food, the food was way more then i expected and the fish was fabulous!!!

took half an hour for app saying delivery on way to actually delivered when shop is only ten minutes away by car in heavy traffic

The food was ok but you cannot deliver fish and chips in original fish n chip paper and send it out for delivery with the driver. you need to re-think your storage of food for delivery. A fish and chip box would help stop the fish and chips sweating and ending up a soggy mess . I literally had to peel the chips off the paper and the fish batter was soggy, and for nearly £16 for fish chips, peas and a bunch I expect better.

If you a big eater you will like the size of these. Fish was huge and a bit greasy and nice but the chips were lovely couldn’t eat them all as far too many so went in the bin. Maybe offer a small fish and chips and a large but lady that delivered was nice even in the bad rain.

Delivery was spot on but possibly the most tasteless pizza I’ve ever had. Enjoyed the chilli sauce tho as it was the only thing that had some taste. Wouldn’t go back

Food was alright but I’ve had much better. I swear on the order form it said chips or salad. I ordered extra chips as well but didn’t get the share with one of the kebabs. Don’t think I’ll be back

Great customer service from the staff here. They forgot an item, however it was rectified straight away and they were at my house within 10 minutes. You can't ask for better then that especially when they were quite busy with deliveries. They couldn't apologise enough, but I understand these things happen, it's easily done. Food was absolutely delicious as always. My son now doesn't want his garlic bread with cheese from anywhere but here as he has stated the garlic bread from here is a lot more tastier.

Second time ordering first time food was on time and lovely this time I've waited nearly 2hours. First time called to see where it was I was told kebab was in high demand and they would send a bottle of pop out for free and it was just leaving the shop 25mins later nothing so rang shop again to be told its just left 2mins ago.

Food was lovely and hot on arrival. Its hard to find a good chippy, all food ordered was lovely. Will definitely order again..

Lovely food and massive portions

I've only ever come here over the years for the fish and chips and it is always fantastic. This is one of the only chippies I've been to where the food isn't greasy at all, so thank you for that! Service was incredibly quick and the staff were very friendly. Staff gave us a bottle of tango on the house which I really appreciate, so thank you again for that.

Awful refried chips from lunchtime and always pretending that the card machine doesn't work, it does. If you're not gonna pay your taxes then at least use fresh chips
