Hi, from birmingham working up here had a lamb biryani as a takeaway via uber, no bad at all perfect portion and veg sauce nice and saucey.. good job thanks

Waited over 2hrs for delivery. We had to pick the order up our selfs and food was stone cold and inedible. The entire order went in the bin. A total waste of £62. Was told by restaurant that the Just driver never turned up to collect our order.

Very welcoming, and a nice interior,staff were very friendly. Food was really nice and nicely spiced.

We ordered 3 vegegetarian dishes (Curry, massala,…) - great taste and big portions! In Addition we ordered 1 Naan and two rice - delicious.

£35 hot can of coke cold nan bread cold rice bland as out. Masala takes like nothing. Worst Indian to date.

curry tasted unlike any I've ever had for what I ordered, alongside the other orders also not tasting as expected. Keema naan came empty.

Taste of India Food is disgusting, whole order ended up in the Bin. Food arrived cold, no flavour to anything, we ordered the Chicken Tika Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi, Rice and Chicken Pakoras, All the Chicken was dry and flavourless, reheated from the previous day more than likely. garlic Nan had no flavour and was like rubber. Truly disgusting experience, Never order from this place.

Food was cold, and absolutely disgusting, chicken was dry in the pakoras, jalfrezi and masala. Nothing had flavour, Garlic Nan was like rubber and no garlic taste, all of it tasted like old reheated(badly) food.whole order ended up in the bin. Disgusting

Fabulous. From the minute you step through the door you are welcomed with a genuine smile and attentive staff. The menu is extensive and covers all the flavours and preferences. If you can’t see it on the menu they will do their best to accommodate or suggest an alternative. Currently working my way through the menu as I love to try new flavours and can honestly state that I have not disliked any of the dishes I have tried so far. I am pescatarian and the management and staff are well versed with recommending dishes to suit my needs. Highly suggest you check this place out, eat in or takeaway, there is absolutely no difference to the standards. Every order is cooked fresh on the night so be prepared to pre order or wait a little while for your food. 😊

ordered a chicken Korma and plain rice ment to be really mild as can't have spicy but it was very spicy

Had a wonderful meal here with family. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent and very tasty. Some of the nicest nan breads I've ever had. Great selection of food and portions were generous. Would highly recommend 😊

We Visited this restaurant yesterday evening on the 03.05.24 and we were totally blown away by how good the food was and the portion sizes we had 4 popadoms and a pickle tray to start with and we also ordered 1 Vegetable Pathia tandoori Roti 1 Vegetable Sag Paneer and a Tandoori Mixed Grill and 2 Diet Cokes you can tell when the food is good when they use all fresh vegetables and not frozen vegetables to cook with we will definitely come back to visit this restaurant in the near future well done to the owner and your chef 👍👌

Great tasting food the vegetable curries are full of so many different fresh veg bursting with flavour. Portion sizes are big and very good value for money. Staff are warm and friendly we will be back x

1st time here and the food and service were excellent

Who,wow,wow and wow. Boy oh Boy. Oh my, Goodness gracious, as soon as I stepped into this restaurant I could sense the aromatic air and instantly clicked that this place was going to be the best decision of my life. The attentive, lovely staffs lead you to a table and the seats, the seats were like 5 star chiropractors, my back was smoothly relaxed. The menu had an extended amount of options, delicious chicken biryanis, neat garlic chips and the flavourful lamb. The wait was nothing to complain about as the food was extremely worth it. The price was more than reasonable and they are also doing an Eid sale for 20% off!! I recommend this place unlike any other, this will restaurant will truly change your mind, and taste buds on Indian cuisines.

Lived in the area off and on all my life and we booked this little gem last minute everything was really good, food was amazing we opted for the set menu but a huge choice was on there, I would definitely recommend trying this place out oh and the staff were really attentive

First time at this restaurant and was blown away with the fantastic menus and tasty dishes . Superb spicing through our starters and mains- tasty lamb, creamy tarka dall and light paratha.Even the poppadums were excellent -the lime chutney really delicious. I will definitely come back to try more of the specialist curries. Excellent service and very reasonable pricing.

About time a decent indian restaurant & takeaway appeared in benton foresthall & killingworth area staff were fantastic and food was unbelievable, emaculatey clean & bright place. Would reccommend it to everyone

We tried it as a change to our usual and although very mild as noted on menu our first meal was tasty and very well made on our second visit we got it to our normal spicy levels and absolutely blown away great food lovely staff and reasonably priced we'll definitely be back

The food at the venue was really good. I had the lamb madras. The portion sizes are great. I could not finish the naan bread. There was a bit of a wait on the food, to the point where we are asking what was happening. The waiter calmly said they were behind because of the Deliveroo orders. Why would they favour deliveries over service to those that actually made the effort to turn up to eat at their establishment. We are the ones who will be tipping etc for good service. This was my big issue with the restaurant.

My wife and I dined at taste of India and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was brilliant, and the service, particularly from the young lads, was outstanding. Their professionalism and attentiveness made our experience truly memorable. We highly recommend this restaurant for an exceptional dining experience.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They'll lie about cooking your food, and then they'll never answer the phone when you try to call them later on. Waited nearly 3 hours for an order that never arrived. Terrible. Worst experience ever. Ruined the entire evening. If I could give zero stars I would.

I love this restaurant but normally we pick it up and do it direct, as we had a few drinks we had to order through just eat, it took over 2 hours to arrive which was over an hour after it’s advised arrival time and the food was cold, we only live less than ten minutes away. Very very disappointed

Perhaps it was just one of those nights, but it was the first time I had been in years… perhaps a decade, and the rest of the group had never been before. It took forever for the food to arrive and at one point someone apologised explaining they had had loads of takeaway orders. We weren’t the only table waiting. Perhaps a decision has to be made about who gets priority or what Taste of India wants to be… or maybe we made a mistake of booking a table for six on a Friday. Like ok, ok, but the food was a bit disappointing. There was no real kick to any of the hot meals, no sizzle to the sizzling meals. The Keema naan had one lonely strip of kebab meat in it. Perhaps my memory of what Taste of India was is wrong, but I’m sure it used to be better than this.

Food was cold. Chips were reheated. Part of the order was missing. First time ordering with Just Eat and won’t be using it again!

Waited 2 hours for delivery, when I contacted them to see what had happened, I was told the order had already been dispatched. I received a phone call later saying that they had lost that order. Top and bottom is if you like to eat food and don’t like liars. Don’t order from here.

Despite living nearby for almost two years, it took us a while to get to Taste of India, and now I am kicking myself for waiting so long! The welcome was warm, on an otherwise freezing cold day, and the restaurant had extra heaters on the go too, to make sure it was a comfortable temperature. We ordered poppadoms and pickles first, followed by onion bhajis which were delicious and came with some excellent sauces. We chose mains from the chef's specials, one chicken, one lamb and both of them were delicious, with perfectly cooked meat. The mushroom bhaji and nut pillaw rice were also both delicious, and just the right portion sizes for one between two. The service was attentive but not oppressive, and we'll definitely be back soon!

Unhappy with my order, very burnt nan bread and no raita. This was for a celebration meal and we feel very let down

Another amazing meal at this lovely restaurant. The staff can't do enough for you they are so friendly and helpful. It was my partners birthday, the staff came out with a cake and sang happy birthday, which was a lovely touch which was really appreciated. It is such a relaxed atmosphere. Nice to see that they are promoting cash is king

Just ordered from here. Was absolutely disgusting. Used to be nice. Raw garlic on the chips and the Nan. Powdery chapati or whatever it was supposed to be. Asked for normal lamb got lamb tikka which was chewy and the curry was thin watery and as if a whole load of chilli powder was poured in it. Naan was crispy and horrible not soft at all. Chicken bhuna had a weird taste and Even the paneer tasted off. Paid over £40 for this and extremely upset.

My order was exceptionally late and JUST EAT NEVER DELIVERED IT. The restaurant sent a private driver because JUST EAT NEVER SHOWED UP. It was almost 1hr 30mins late on the delivery time promised when I ordered. I WANT A REFUND FROM JUST EAT

Quick delivery which was good. We paid over £40 for 2 main courses, a starter, rice, chips and Naan. Expensive meal as the chicken in the main courses was minimal and very small, irregular shaped pieces. Not the usual diced chicken breast you would expect in a curry. Is this usual? First time I have ordered from here and was expecting more after reading good reviews. Disappointed and not sure I will order from here again as I feel ripped off. 22.12.23

Food was quite expensive but I assumed that would be reflected in the quality, but it wasnt. The bag the food came in had curry swimming all in the bottom, If I wanted to clean up my kitchen after eating I would have cooked. Food wasn't hot (temperature wise, not spice). Food did taste good and arrived early, just expected more for the price. £40 for 2 curries with rice and nan.

We were missing 3 cans of pop but rang the restaurant who investigated and apologised and offered a refund

My husband and I joined friends at this restaurant in October. It was the first time I had been there. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We have been to many Indian restaurants before and this was by far the best.

Why is there an egg on the biryani, this is truly shocking, get it off. Sort yourself out.

Food was all spilt in the bag. The sauce was everywhere. The curry with meat in was all over the other food which was not good as members of the family are vegetarian. Rang to complain, after spending £47 on this meal to be told 'contact Just Eat'. Onion bhajis were cold and the masalla sauce was tastless. Terrible service. Would not recommend.

Ordered chef special chicken kurma and it was horrible. Not good chicken probably thigh, pieces of wood (possibly coconut shell) and mostly like a tin of soup. So watery that as I lifted it from the paper bag it spilled out of the container. No taste or bulk to it at all. Phoned to complain and he just overtalked me and said food was good and nobody else complains. Refused refund and was rude to me. Do not recommend takeaway from here

Blooming delicious!!! A friend took me to the restaurant and I though one of best curry’s I’ve had. Takeaway from a restaurant can be a lot different and a let down. This isn’t the case here, I repeat blooming delicious.

The dishes were a bit more spicy than we anticipated from the menu description. Tasty though with very friendly staff on our takeaway pickup

Dined in with 5 friends. Fab food & service but didn't like having to climb over other chairs to get seated. 🤔 We will definitely be back again though. Highly recommended!!
