U need to change your website .me and hubby called in last Sunday fr roast dinner only to be told they don't do food anymore very misleading on your website

Had one of the best carvery dinners I’ve ever had - the beef was perfectly cooked and everything seasoned to perfection. Wonderful atmosphere and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

The Charnwood recently taken over by a smashing bunch Amanda Josh and Jordan with excellent staff supporting them the place is clean crisp fresh and is building trade up steadily now with there Sunday carvery which I’ve had a few in my time it’s the best Sunday lunch in the North East by far the beer is a good pint Eddy Eats would have recommended it the clientele are sound salt of the earth people so if you like a good laugh with a bit of Geordie banter this is the place the entertainment that I’ve seen so far is excellent just a real nice place to be

I'm new to this bar ,called in tonight on way home 10:35 only to be told by barmaid they were closed now . Walking to the exit i turned around and she was serving some guy and took his money . not be going back that's for sure. Well done barmaid

The staff are very friendly, and the facility's match the service. Was very pleased

No dogs allowed even though my dog was cleaner and better behaved than most of the customers.

It's OK, it clean and decor is light and generally pubby. Staff are nice, but I ended up waiting for a while to be served because they were enjoying a chat, and knew I was waiting because they'd walked past me to have the said chat. All in all its ok, nothing special but it's not a dive by any means.

Excellent Chinese food here, the chef will make you almost any Chinese dish you ask for. Head barman/landlord enjoys the banter. A fun place to go for a drink and a bite. Good prices too!!

Great pub good people and friendly bar staff

The customer service is appalling. Most of the staff look miserable and asking them for a pint is like asking them to climb mount everest (such a chore for them). It would be an alright pub if it werent for the staff and management. Would not recommend to anyone!

If u ever wanna run a pub go in the charva and learn how not to run a pub in to the ground fkn shite getting worse and food was rotten the lounge is like a waiting room for dead chairs

Food is awful,would not go back in also customers are really rough,lot of swearing and shouting,terrible bar I strongly recommend staying away
