Terrible food stale scones and cakes, ridiculously overpriced, lack of health and hygiene and rude service-no space for pushchairs

It was my birthday on Sunday. A late Sunday lunch with family was such a good idea. Roast pork had sounded so appealing, especially considering that living alone nowadays means that traditional Sunday dinner no longer happens at home. Plus points: an amazing building, a warm welcome and most pleasant staff. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the meal was awful because of soggy crackling, hard and shrunken roast potatoes, one piece of carrot (!), cold greens and lukewarm watery gravy. And, I didn't like the block of stuffing, which, by the way, was also cold. In addition, we waited an hour for the main course to arrive. A disappointed customer.

Came in for a sub today, the guy who served me was so friendly and polite. And great at making the sub. Honestly it was a good feeling to start my lunch.

Staff picked up partners scone with their bare hands- no tongs, no gloves! My bacon sandwich was freezing cold!.... and by this i mean the bacon was so cold and chewy it was practically inedible. It was tough chewy and had obviously been sat for a long time. The margarine congealed and far too much on the roll. The bread bun was OK though. That's the best feedback I can give in this review- the bread bun was OK. Won't be back. Not cheap either.
