Para ser sincero, llamamos aquí para tomar un café ya que Costa estaba cerrada, pero me alegro de haberlo hecho y el servicio fue excelente. Sí, un poco alto para los precios, pero para mí la relación calidad-precio.

Avoid Gosforth trinity Church cafe-waste of money, rip off sawdust bread, make a you sick and germs in kitchens, and terrible caramel brownies unfriendly staff who only interested in profitably rip off

I have stopped off a few times and restricted. At one o'clock there is precious little room and there are always the buggies to add clutter. Having said that the food is quite nice and the staff are very helpful.

We come at least once a week because the staff are so welcoming and helpful. We have tried other places on Gosforth High Street, Rosie's who were so unwelcoming, so return here. The highchairs are Ikea ones and they have lots and lots! The staff will come over and take orders, despite it being counter service. We never feel rushed and the changing facilities are great. Great cheese scones and soup too.

Visited last week with a friend and our babies. It was raining outside and as we entered a male member of staff came rushing over to help us make way for the pushchairs and get us a nice seat. He was so cheery and took our order to save us going up to the till. The coffee and scones were lovely. Had such a nice atmosphere and whilst we were there got quite busy. We had previously left Rosie's due to rude staff and clearly not family friendly, and this couldn't have been further from this. From now on will come to Olivia's when on Gosforth High Street, and in fact have plans to next week.

I come here almost every Saturday as my daughter attends dance classes in the church. The staff are great, very friendly and the food is lovely. Could be argued it's a tad expensive, but it really is good.

Lovely bread, freshly delivered every day- so great sandwiches etc The bread is on display in a glass cabinet. BUT the cakes and sweet treats are kept on open display, next to the till, at just the right height for a small child standing in the queue with his mum to sneeze all over them- which is what I saw today! Enough to put me off I'm afraid!

We called here for a coffee, and were seduced by a bacon sandwich. The bun was warm fresh and delicious. The coffee hot and also delicious. They had the choice of numerous kinds of bread, and the cakes on display looked wonderful. Service was really quick and the staff couldn't do enough to help. I was not even allowed to carry my coffee cup to the table myself. We shall be returning again soon. Well worth a visit.

In gosforth on business and decided to give this venue a try. Coffee good and a good size portion as well. Price good for the area. Venue excellent. I tried the warmed cheese scone and was slightly disappointed. The scone had little flavour apart from a mustard kick. Not bad but certainly not the best I have had.

If you love great coffee & fancy a bite to eat in relaxed, welcoming surroundings...then Olivia's at Trinity Church, Gosforth is the place for you! There is a little something for everyone... Carnivores, vegetarians & those with a sweet tooth. Good selection of bread from the artisan bakery & in my opinion the best coffee in Newcastle! Trust me...a good Flat White is a rarity in La Toon but these guys have got it spot on! We whiled away a good couple of hours in the sunshine in the small outdoor area but with the glass windows all around would have been happy to sit inside too. Children are welcomed warmly so all you Yummy Mummies of Gosforth get yourselves down. Great to see a local cafe supporting its community.

Having been here a couple of times previously I was put off returning after the limited choice of pre-packed sandwiches and three day old scones. However, crusty old cake and pensioners specials are a thing of the past and have now been replaced with tasty food and delicious coffee. The menu is small but there's something for everyone. The quiche is the best quiche I have ever had (and I must admit to being particularly fussy!). The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive without becoming pests! I do hope they expand further on the children's menu, and the main menu for that matter as children are very much welcomed here!

Best bread in the area by a long shot. Excellent, freshly baked, loads of different varieties; lots of interesting and unusual bread. The cheesey bread is a particular favourite of ours and doesn't last long in the house!

We called into this café on our way to The Great Northern Museum. We ordered two coffees at the counter, but when we came to pay, we were told that cash was not accepted. This is a practice that we find quite deplorable so we left. It turned out well for us, because there was a café a few doors down which was very good and accepts cash.

Had high hopes for brunch at Eve but was a bit disappointed. We were seated straight away by a friendly young man. Probably sat for about 15-20 minutes without anyone approaching us for our order. I managed to get the hosts attention and he took the order for us. Seemed like there was a lot of staff but most of them lingered round the bar area. Saying that, their uniforms were odd, some were dressed in jeans/tshirts/aprons but none of them co ordinated so not always easy to identify who worked there and who didn’t. Pancakes were £11, were quite a small portion so not enough to fill you up. The live music was good but I’m not really sure it suited the vibe.
