The best restaurants in South Heaton Newcastle upon Tyne North East

Went here tonight with my brother for the first time. Staff were really friendly and helpful when we arrived. The atmosphere was very nice inside with ambient lighting and nice background music. We ordered the sharing platter and it was so tasty! Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned and the portion was massive. The salad accompanied it well also. Dessert was amazing too! So tasty and fresh. Already planning on going back again

My husband got me some lunch yesterday. First time I've tried it. I got the mid week lunch meal which was a tofu rice bowl, dragon rolls and a fruit pot. Firstly the portions were great-i had enough left over for lunch today. Everything was so fresh. The dragon rolls were unbelievable, so many flavours. The best veggie sushi I have ever had. I will mostly certainly be getting more lunches from here!

A great addition to the Chillingham Road - very good variety of food, and good coffee. Well worth a visit for fresh and unusual food, a change from the usual, and you can tell the quality by the number of people waiting outside for their orders!

This is the very best place for breakfast or a quick snack or an afternoon meal. Very reasonable in price, very friendly, I go out of my way to come to this place its really worth it!

Was here with my son tonight. Potato skin starter, cheese garlic bread and tomato & buffalo mozzarella starter. Chicken with peppercorn sauce with chips & salmon & prawns in a white wine sauce. Absolutely delicious. Looking forward to going back 🙂

This restaurant is one of my favorites. Their stew are really amazing and I suggest everyone to taste them. The environment is warm and lovely. If you are Iranian and you feel homesick just go there and taste a Persian dish that taste your mother's cooking. Also we tried their saffron ice cream and it was really delightful .❤️💖

I went there today for a Sunday dinner it was very nice and the service was really good.the staff are very friendly and helpful.I will be going back again next week.

Best pizza shop in the north east without a doubt!! Just have the sexiest kebab pizza you ever seen/tasted!!!

Habíamos estado lo que significa que de repente en aquí por un tiempo y lo hizo esta mañana, tuve un desayuno inglés completo ( £4,95 ) y patatas y judías dobles de huevo para mi mujer ( £2.50 ). Cafe en sí estaba impecable, el servicio es amable y una excelente selección de artículos. Café era bueno, bonito y fuerte, y tocino era especialmente bueno, bonito thick cut y bien preparado.En general, muy impresionados sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo sinceramente.

This honestly might be the nicest food I’ve ever had! The patatas bravas are absolutely out of this world and we also had the steak, mustard chicken and meatballs-all of which were equally incredible. The staff are so lovely and the restaurant is nice and small with an authentic vibe to it, which is perfect for couples or to catch up with friends and family :)

Best Mac and Cheese tasted to date. Good filling portion for the price.

Edit... After buying pizza again, there is something that breathes simplicity into this food, in all the right ways. Flint does not try, it doesn't need to, the food speaks 1000 words or more through the very few ingredients it uses... Pizza without the nonsense, there's no weird sauce for the gram, just proper pizza, the proper way, by proper people.
