went for the first time this evening after reading rave reviews and it definitely doesn't dissapoint! All the staff were so polite and attentive, kostas in particular was lovely. I had the chicken souvalaki which was amazing, the tzatziki that came with it was a standout for us, it's so delicious! The baklava for dessert was great too. A really lovely meal for a reasonable price, would highly recommend as we will definitely be going back!

First visit here & certainly won't be that last. Food was lovely with friendly service, highly recommended.

A really nice restaurant with a lot of Greek. The food was excellent as was the service. HUGE minus, however, for the plastic brick panel at the corner table closest to the counter. However, I can warmly recommend the place.

Lovely meal tonight at Paros. Booked a table on the spur of the moment. Chicken souvlaki were lovely. Squeezed in some orange cake pudding, and finished off with coffee. Lovely evening. Service was excellent.

Visited for the first time last night & it certainly won't be the last. Beautifully decorated & Greek music playing really which gives off a lovely vibe. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes...We were told the portokalopita dessert was a must try & it certainly was! Most delicious cake I have ever eaten! For starters & mains we had spanakopita, meatballs, chicken gyros platter and moussaka. Every single dish was absolutely outstanding! Make sure to "finish your meal like a Greek" with an Ouzo on the rocks! We can't recommend this place enough & will certainly be back!

Delicious food and huge portions. Great value for money. The service was brilliant lovely friendly team. And the restaurant atmosphere was great. Really cosy nice vibe. Will be back and saving room for desert next time as they looked amazing.

This is a beautiful family run restaurant. We enjoyed delicious authentic Greek food and Metaxa to wash it down in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The customer service is excellent. We would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again. Thanks for a lovely evening!

The dinner was quite excellent. All of the meats on the grill were flavourful and tender. The deserts were quite nice, too. Although the pricing was a little high, the quality was adequate. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere was excellent, and the decoration was really good. Overall, it is a good restaurant to experience Greek flavours and good food in general. I recommend giving it a try.

Paros catered our recent engagement party and I couldn't thank them more! They were so helpful and understanding of what we wanted and the whole set up / delivery ran so smoothly. Everyone on the night was complimenting the food and made plans to go to the restaurant itself for dinner. Honestly, the food was delicious! Thank you so much Paros!

Excellent Greek food at good prices

Best Greek food in Newcastle! I am Greek myself and I highly recommend a visit. Yemista were amazing! As well as the hummus, dakos and wine leaves. Lovely staff and delicious food and very high quality ingredients (like they were straight from Greece!)

Have been to this restaurant many times since it opened and can't fault it. The food is always delicious and the service friendly and efficient, so it was the obvious choice for a family meal to celebrate a significant birthday. I was not disappointed. A big thank you to Aldo and Kevila for helping to make it a lovely occasion.

Fantastic food very good service I will recomend it to go there and try the excellent Greek food!!! The chef (Niko)really takes excellent care of every single dish. I recommend the Greek sausage 😋 they have! However everything there is delicious. The service is excellent 👌 You will ❤️ love it , if you like grill food (including vegetarians).

Really, really great food and a cute interior. You feel a little bit you’re on holiday lol. Note: portion sizes are very generous! The meat mix sharing plate says 2 to share but could comfortably be shared between 3 with leftovers.

We've been to Paros a number of times and can't recommend it highly enough. It's the best Greek (or mediterranean) restaurant in Heaton, and potentially Newcastle. The Chicken Souvlaki, Gyros and lamb chops are especially good and all come with chips and salad. There is a good selection of smaller plates and starters too which one member of our family is especially fond of. If you don't finish the meal with the Baklava you're missing out. The staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is too much for them. Highly recommended!

Pretty quiet early evening dinner so didn’t expect much in terms of atmosphere. Feels a bit more like a daytime eatery than an evening restaurant so great for families with children/ young people perhaps.

What a lovely little Greek restaurant, a perfect find. The food was so authentic and freshly cooked. The service was very friendly and accomodating. My son asked for some baklava too takeaway and that was no problem. We also were given complimentary Greek orange cake to try such a nice treat. I will be going there again that's a definite.

Food was great, just wish the gyros "platter" was a bit of a better portion as the name platter implies. Would have been nice to be able to have a mix of both chicken and pork also.

Newly opened restaurant and a great addition to the high street. Beautifully renovated and styled, the three of us had an array of different dishes, all delicious. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended, you're best to book.

Brilliant food at a reasonable price when you consider the portion sizes! Beer options could have been more varied and affordable but otherwise an excellent spot for good food in Heaton with friendly service.

Absolutely beautiful !!! I wanted a healthy, wholesome, tasty meal cooked to order from lovely fresh produce (delivered straight to my door) and that's exactly what I received. I had trouble ordering my meal online so called the restaurant for help. Even though the restaurant was busy the gentleman on the telephone was remarkably patient and friendly and found a solution to my dilemma. Outstanding - what a perfect first impression. Since my first home delivery I have eaten in the restaurant three times to date. The quality of the food and the service were both outstanding. Thank you 'Paros - Greek Restaurant'. What a fabulous food experience with first class customer service. Truly remarkable ..... A 'magnificent' 5***** without a doubt. A marvellous meal in wonderful surroundings, with the authentic ambiance of Greek hospitality from the staff. We celebrated a Father’s Day meal here and all experienced a flavoursome, filling and extremely satisfying meal. My partner said the lamb shank with Greek veg was a very generous portion and cooked to perfection. My chicken souvlaki and accompaniments were delicious and tasty. We will certainly be back and definitely recommend. Efharisto polly!

We have just had a wonderful family meal for my Granddaughter’s 16th birthday. We were given complimentary starters and desserts and greeted so warmly by all the staff. The food was fantastic and we all had a wonderful evening. Thank you Paros for making it such a special birthday.

First time here had mixed grill for 2 perfect cooked great lovely place and staff definitely be back!

Table for 4. We ordered main courses which took 45 mins to arrive. Table water, we had to ask twice before it arrived. No complimentary bread or olives, charged £2:50 for a bit of toasted bread. Had to request condiments. £6 for a glass of wine is rather expensive. On a positive note the food was nice. Overall a very expensive evening with poor service. Will not hurry back !

First time Visiting Paros, Easily some of the best green food in Newcastle. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Good value for money with nice filling portion sizes. The main and desert was very tasty. Will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.

We may not have went to the restaurant, due to alot of disabilities and agoraphobic we can't leave house .. we stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and its the best thing that could have happened .. the staff communication is absolutely amazing it was my granddaughters 16th birthday and her favourite wasn't showing on their website they went above and beyond to help us .. and that's not the only time .. their food is fresh tasty and hot , well presented and in my opinion the best in Newcastle.. its consistent which is a godsend when you have autistic children .. it brings back so many amazing memories of crete / Greece 🇬🇷 💙 The souvlaki and gyros is exceptional 👌 Along with the moussaka and stifado.. their tzatziki and pitta breads are so fresh the taste of their salads especially the paros salad is beautiful 😍 and when we expressed how much we love their Greek jam they gifted us with a jar from their restaurant.. we absolutely love paros food 😋 thank you so very much for everything you do you don't know how much it means to us xx
