The best restaurants in Kenton Newcastle upon Tyne North East

First discovered on Facebook and made a promise to myself that we’d visit the first opportunity we had. Voila!! Done that this morning on our way home to Lancashire and wasn’t disappointed. Menu is great- plenty of breakfast options- we both had a light breakfast which was substantial and just delicious- and proper thick toast. The accompanying coffee was lovely- strong just as we like. This pitstop breakfast set us up for our journey back home. We’ll definitely return next time we’re over that way- and maybe I’ll not forget the scones/cakes I’d promised myself I’d be bring back with me!!

This place is a great new asset for the area, the food is lovely, the staff are friendly and it's very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back

Ordered chicken biryani, too spicy and had a food poison, terrible experience

A real let down from what it used to be ordered a gladiator half new York the toppins just fell off the pizza and the gladiator had sweet peppers you get with the salad instead of jalapenos . Shame because used to be unreal ..

I visited with my family for a spot of lunch and we were greeted by the GM Mandy who made us feel extremely welcome, her customer service was outstanding and we found the establishment to be very accommodating. She informed us of recent upcoming events and we had a great chat. Not to mention the food was fabulous, affordable and timely. 10/10 all round; will be returning soon.

Had high hopes for brunch at Eve but was a bit disappointed. We were seated straight away by a friendly young man. Probably sat for about 15-20 minutes without anyone approaching us for our order. I managed to get the hosts attention and he took the order for us. Seemed like there was a lot of staff but most of them lingered round the bar area. Saying that, their uniforms were odd, some were dressed in jeans/tshirts/aprons but none of them co ordinated so not always easy to identify who worked there and who didn’t. Pancakes were £11, were quite a small portion so not enough to fill you up. The live music was good but I’m not really sure it suited the vibe.

I pre-ordered my food online before the shop opened and followed it with a call as I wanted my food delivered at 9pm on the dot. However the food didn't come until after 9.30 pm. The pizza were absolutely terrible 🤮. Won't be going there ever again. Stay away

Food & Service is Excellent! Always make it how you want it & always very tasty without fail!! In fact i’m writing this as i’m waiting for a delivery from NCL right now it is that good. No B.S people this place is one of my favourite places to order from. The potato wedges are MUST! Sides are out of this world! Then mains are just another level!!! Outstanding! Haven’t had a bad experience yet!

Put food in that my son couldnt eat l did leave a note rang them they werenot bothered and so very rude

New carvery up and running which is excellent value for money. Meat is all from a renowned local butcher. You have to get in quick though because it's very popular.

House special Chow Mein and House Special Fried Rice were good. Portions were reasonable and value for money. And also tasty.. no complaints. 8 out of 10. Ordered prawn crackers and Sweet and sour sauce.. Sweet and sour sauce smells extremely bad. I bin it.. ZERO for this.Both of them were rubbish. Waste of money. Service I would say 5 out if 10.. Not sure if I return but will consider. Anyway Good luck♥️
