The Peacock in Newcastle upon Tyne

Ordered 2 sunday dinners, order was accepted and I was given an expected delivery time. I made stuffing balls and pigs in blankets timed for the dinner arriving. An hour passed, no food so requested an order update only for them to cancel my order. Why accept it and wait that long to cancel, disgusting service.

New carvery up and running which is excellent value for money. Meat is all from a renowned local butcher. You have to get in quick though because it's very popular.

Sadly I was asked to leave because my skin colour didn’t fit. In 2024 being asked to leave somewhere because of skin colour is terrible. Reported

Dirty place. Food is always poor, staff are rude and I just saw a rat outside in broad day light. Current owners are a shambles

Pleasant atmosphere to watch the match in and the staff were helpful. It is a great local pub with a great bunch of friendly regulars. I will definitely be returning soon.

Don't want to disapoint people I haven't been recent but I have heard shocking reviews about new owners and food especially over the Christmas period

Reopened with new manager, was ok and prices not to bad. Tidy inside and toilets ok

The only thing good was the staff... They were so friendly, The place is a dive with sticky floors, so much work is needed to bring it up to code. Plus drinks are a bit pricey.

This looks like a local pub for local people but it's actually a very friendly pub. No ale on draft but bottles of brown ale and speckled hen.

This pub has always been amazing! Drink is cheep and the bar staff are really friendly! Every Sunday dinner is cooked fresh by the chef and brought out with a friendly face. Couldn't recommended this place enough!

Pork roast was very tasty,plenty of fresh veg & gravy boat left at table,extra veg available just ask & happy to get you more. Service was friendly & quick.
